Mason's shameless plug on Nelaf's most recent build prompted a long overdue re-read of this build. This is one of the builds on this site that I can come back to and read just for fun.

I guess he did have that move before me. I was over the moon when I did it accidentally, though. 

I'm over the moon that sword and board (or in your case spell and "door", Nelaf ) is back in fashion on this site at the moment. My favourite combat style is being explored like never before and inspiring me to collect every single unique shield in the game. Again.

Ysgramor's Shield is the biggest shield in the game, It's the size of Bilbo Baggins' door from LOTR.

It's bloody huge....Anyone got a mod for Tower Shields? Now THEY'RE doors.

This is my favorite build of all time! I played your Mark 1 version on PS3, and later when I got it on PC with the DLCs I made the Mark 2 there. Unofficial Patch fixes Ancient Knowledge to work as it is supposed to, so this guy's armor is just barely under that of equally smithed Ebony. There's mods to revert for the other "fixes" that would have killed this build. First ever build I broke level 30 with. This guys is epic, simply awesome.

I love the full immunity to spells.... so simple but clever! +1
