Nope. It just provides 30% spell absorption. Once you have continuous casting from the Ultimate Atronach try the "cast and hold" telekinesis/fast travel trick.  It will bring alteration to 100 almost instantly! One could also do that with the Black Book "Filament and Filigree" power called "Secret of Arcana".

    I love that trick!

I really love this build and have played it for quite some time now but unless the Imperial's Racial power can't be temporarily boosted with Fortify Illusion potions I am doubting if the Imperial really is the race I should have choosen for this build. My character had joined the Volkihar for testing purposes to see if she could calm down the Dawnguard to buy from them. She was already at a level far beyond the 100 when this happened and as Voice of the Emperor works on human characters up to level 99 only I quickly found out that the whole Dawnguard clang simply kept on leveling the whole time to match my characters level. I don't have that save anymore but as I am writing this I thought about another thing that could help if potions don't fortify her racial power; how about Dragon Aspect first and then Voice of the Emperor? Will it boost the last far beyond enemy levels of 99?

I have tried it with these potions but infinite casting flames and wards still doesn't seem to work for me. When magicka runs out both spells stop working.

I'm confused, whats Illusion got to do with this build? It doesn't perk the Illusion tree...?

Also, this build is designed to be a 'good' character, why would you join the vampire side?

Did you create the art yourself?

As I said; for testing purposes. But I didn't even need to do that as I now have joined the Dawnguard (my favorite out of the two anyway) and tested it again. It seems that Illusion potions don't boost Voice of the Emperor at all, eventhough it is in fact a calm spell. Now I can only hope that Dragon Aspect does boost it, so I can buy from the Volkihar once that gate of them finally get opened.

Mason hasn't been around lately. I fairly sure that Mason edited/photoshopped all of the pictures himself.

Hi all if anyone is still wondering you can have the ultimate atronach from as early as lvl 8 maybe all you need is

lvl 30 alchemy, 1st rank of alchemist, Physician and Benefactor

also need 44% alchemy gear including a single piece at 8% i found it easiest with 3 pieces of 8% fortify alchemy gear and the Krosis mask.

    1. Get alchemy to lvl 30

    2. Wear 8% alchemy ring and make 6 resto pots at 30%. Make sure you don't lvl past 33 or you will ruin it for the 40% pots

    3. Wear all gear to get 44% and make 12 pots at 40%

now you should have enough to last until you can buy them if not for the whole game

ps if you are not using the thief stone you can probably make more

I got this effect by accident, earlier than expected.  I had a self-made low level restoration potion at 21%.  I took that, then a draught of the healer (bought), then atronach stone.  I had 168 magic afterwards, so 68% absorption and I could cast concentration spells indefinitely as detailed in the build.  I had only spent one perk in alchemy at the time.

I play on PC and with the latest unofficial patches. I had to install this mod to get the effect to work. Also tested it on a level 1 char with no perks in Alchemy and it worked; using the console, I added the potions and coc'ed to the stone.
