    Thanks so much, guys! Not going to lie: it's a bit disheartening for me and probably going to curb whatever little potential enthusiasm I might have had left for creating future builds, but the kind of appreciation you've shown is what has always made it all so worthwhile whenever I have posted one. I'm very grateful for all the likes and praise; can't be mad that five people didn't choose it over some of the other great builds in the contest when it's already got 80+ likes and comments such as yours. The judges sure had their work cut out for them and I'd personally like to congratulate everyone who participated!

    This build was my personal favourite too.  It's too bad that it didn't win, but it's still an awesome build!

    I was certain this build would win the contest! This was definitely my favorite. Regardless, congrats on a badass build.

    I have to say you went into the contest being pretty darn cocky. We completely disregarded likes and comments (it's not a popularity contest after all). Just because you didn't place doesn't mean your build wasn't any good, it's just that the panel overall thought the others were better (yours was probably a solid 4th out of the 9 entries).

    I sincerely hope you're wrong about the curbed enthusiasm man. Your Demonhunter is the most liked build on the site and your Shadowmancer is my personal favorite. The day the blog loses that caliber of build will be a sad day indeed.

    Ponty, with all due respect, I think it's completely pathetic of you and any of the judges to discredit the enthusiastic hyperbole I'm known for in all of my builds as cockiness, especially when I've been the most vocal of all the contestants in praising the quality of my peers' submissions against my own. Pardon me for trying to get people hyped for my build and the contest. And I was aware from the start that it wouldn't be a popularity contest but I also think disregarding the opinions of the community at large in terms of both likes and comments ENTIRELY makes it seem that you judges entered this being pretty darn cocky lol.

    Truth be told, I had no qualms about the choices you guys made (at least until I read your basis for judging each build lol) and was merely showing appreciation for the support my build has gotten outside of the judging panel. No hard feelings, I know you guys didn't have it easy, and I know there was little to no structure to the contest that any of you or us could have attempted to adhere to going into it. People would have found fault no matter what you guys chose. I'm not butthurt about it, bro.

    And Matt, I thank you for your kind words but truth be told my heart isn't in it any more. And I'd never want to post a build I didn't feel entirely cocky... err, CONFIDENT in. :P

    Maybe in time the spark will hit me again though! Never say never. :)

    You know Snakes, I would read your builds and just love them. I hate evil characters in any game, but I really enjoy reading this build and I will actually try it! I can feel the same energy and excitement you have when you write them. How you write your builds gives them life, and make me see how you value them! I'm not just reading about the character you played, but I'm also seeing the same badass all from reading print on a screen. That's what makes an excellent writer! I really admire that quality about your build writing, please keep it up :D
