Thanks for the like! You can always play the fallen knight who rejects the honor code and instead makes pacts with the daedra.

The main reason I put so many perks into Smithing was so that you get a new set of melee weapons every 10 levels or so and then by the end you have the most legendary sword imaginable, one made of dragon's bones, seems like the ultimate knight weapon. But you're absolutely right, Steel Plate is the perfect choice in terms of knightly appearance and I sprinted to level 50 Smithing as soon as I could.

If you're a fallen knight you can also get Uthgerd as a follower and bring her to the middle of nowhere to kill her for her steel plate, this works right from the beginning of the game so at like level 5 you already have it

Anyway, thanks again for the +1, glad to see my work is appreciated

Im not too sure about melee classes usually, (always liked mages and sneaky chars xD) BUT OHMAGAWD, dat music. Might have to try this one out. Great layout and choice of artwork in combination with the music :D

But that music... I second Technics notion. It shouldn't be on autoplay.

Spotify gets it for you for free, i have a whole playlist of their songs that i listen to while i read these builds  but you do have to deal with the occasional add (nothing is without a price

Redemption by Audio-machine also fits really snugly while reading this build.

With the issue of being a noble knight, what should we do about Serana? On one hand she IS a vampire, a daughter of coldharbour in fact. Should we cure her of vampirism then take her with us to protect her as a noble knight or leave her at Castle Dawnguard and only take her when the quest needs her?

I quote Paarthurnax for this one: 'What is better - to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?' Serana is a vampire, yes, but she aid you in battle against her evil father and is willing to give up her vampirism if you ask her to do so after finishing the main quest on (and not during) the Dawnguard side. For that she can be considered good and you can accept her as a companion, even during her vampire form.

This build is AWESOME!!! I've already started this build before I ever read this thread. I like how you justified illusion. My guy is only lvl 10 right now, but he'll adopt your knightly code of conduct (every knight starts off a squire).

I second you tim. this is a cool idea. I too suffer from "skyrim restart syndrome". I've got at least 4 of every style and a few mixed.
