I've not played this exact build yet, but I've played mages before and I've had terrible times with open combat without the aid of a follower/meat shield.  How do you deal with multiple attackers (bandits, etc) and dragons/dungeon quest targets/high level foes solo?

Best that I can think of is destruction and the bound sword.

I guess, as long and the enemy dies, you're still an assassin, right?

Well with Bandits I can just illusion them into attacking each other. Dragons can be taken down with Destruction magic though if you're lucky you can instakill or seriously wound them with a bound dagger sneak attack. At higher levels you've got Invisibility to help you out so you can land those 30x sneak attacks on people whenever you need to.

Hello Ponty, Firstly a big thank you for posting all your builds.  I had great fun with "The Mabrigash"  but messed it up a bit through not leveling appropriate skills at the appropriate time, so with that in mind would you be kind enough to advise on which skills to level first? and is "The Arcane Assassin" suitable for playing on master difficulty.  Thanks in advance, R

This build is definitely doable on Master (I think the video is recorded on Master difficulty). I'd recommend focusing on the 3 Major skills first. You only need Novice Conjuration, and if you're following the playstyle Sneak really takes care of itself.
