ESO Homes: Exorcised Coven Cottage

I recently completed a housing project started back during the Witches Festival in which I bought the Exorcised Coven Cottage, unfurnished, for 250,000 gold. I had this cottage on Xbox and it was the primary home of my Wyress character, Ama. My original idea when I started this project on PC NA was of it being a symbolic handover from the Wyress to an Orc shaman I had planned on making. That idea didn't pan out as planned, but the cottage did get passed on to an Imperial Templar called Castus Vlindrel who took the "exorcised" part of the name and ran with it. Now, most of the witchy elements have been exorcised and converted into a small shrine of Mara. However, some vestiges of the wyress can be seen in the flora and organic lighting.

Of course it was night time and raining when I took pictures and filmed, but hopefully that helps make the lighting effects stand out more.

The view from the front door.

The garden area is definitely the Wyress' influence with the Witches Tree, Captive and Light of Meridia. The Imperial added the High Kinlady statue.

The waterfall is lit by a Colovian Projection Crystal, and the Imperial Statue, Faith guards the steps to the structure above.

The Redguard Fountain, Mosaic was a very generous and treasured gift.

    The Sigil of Mara...

...Sits upon an Altar of the Divines.

The cottage interior is mostly comprised of Breton, Imperial, and Redguard furnishings.

The Telvanni Organic Azure Sconces lighting the place are another holdover from when the wyress lived there...

...As are the Clockwork Spinning Wheel and Loom.

The stable for the horse and outside bathhouse, the latter with underfloor heating.

The Regal Two Person Sauna Pool was another generous gift. Castus, devoted to the goddess of love, enjoys company...

...And the bathhouse has room for three bathers.

End of the tour, thank you for reading :)

I love what you've done with this! Very different than the direction I took it, but you did an absolutely incredible job furnishing this spot. This is such a dreamy little spot in the middle of Hag's Fen. The walk through vid is super cool but I think this place is best seen and experienced in person. :D

Thanks, 'preciate it :) It was hard work getting the walls done - I'd log in and do the Alinor dailies just for the culanda lacquer material, then head to a workbench and craft one or two walls... It took weeks of that each day just to attempt changing the atmosphere of the place. To be honest, I think the music box did more to change the vibe of the house than anything else ;)
