Personality: Jack is the type of person who when he sets his mind to do something, he *will* get it done, no matter how hard it is or how long it takes. He is charming, clever, polite, and protects those he cares about with his life.
Jack Longale was born in Cyrodiil, in the city of Chorrol. He spent his adolescence playing with his brothers, reading, and learning how to play the lute. He had always wanted to go the Bard’s College in Skyrim, but his father convinced him that he could not make a living off of just being a bard, so he studied to become an architect. After saving up enough gold from writing designs and plans for castles and sheds alike, he left for Bruma in hopes of finding others who would be travelling to Skyrim as well. To his luck he came upon three travellers planning to go to Skyrim, so he joined them and they ventured northward together. Upon crossing the border of Skyrim they came between an Imperial ambush and several Stormcloak soldiers. Jack was struck in the head and knocked out by one of the Imperial soldiers, and when he woke up there was no sign of his companions, his belongings, or any of the gold he had saved up.
After escaping Helgen, he heard of well paying ‘work’ in Riften, so he goes there and gets caught up with the Thieves Guild. After becoming the new Guildmaster and getting back the gold he had lost (plus a good amount more), he finally goes to the Bard’s College. He becomes a bard, and spends a good while there honing his skill in the arts. Then over the course of four years he took up arms with the Stormcloak army to get back at the Imperials for taking everything from him and attempting to kill him, learned of his Dragonborn powers and vanquished Alduin, joined the Dawnguard in their attack on the undead menace, and travelled to Solstheim and defeated Miraak. He eventually settles down with his wife and two children in Solitude, at least until adventure would call to him once more.

Always love a loveable rogue (duh :P) and this fella perfectly fits that. Nice profile, Loop!
Some questions... Who were the fellow travellers he made his way to Skyrim with? I was fully expecting them to either be Stormcloaks, or some big name character like a Guild leader or something. Maybe I've been watching too many films though, after all not all parts of a story have to mean something.
Also, was Jack always so interested in crime? It's just that it's hard to envision an architect and bard suddenly being chill with stealing and exploiting innocents, especially given his alignment.
And how signicificant is the Dawnguard to Jack? He uses their weapons and does join them, but as he doesn't seem to have had any interest in killing vampires previously how did he decide it was the right path for him.
And last but not least, would it be possible to include a picture or two? Just makes it easier for me to visualise a character is all.
Awesome character mate, really like that he's a talented performer and a bit of a braniac as well as a thief, gives him some nice depth.

Thank you, I appreciate it.
To answer all of your questions, I'll tell you this: I'm currently in the process of writing Jack's full fledged story, and I will answer all your questions in depth through it. Soooo, if you want to know more about him just give it a read when I finish it.
The last question though, I did search for images but I couldn't really find what I wanted. But I'll give Deviant Art a go and see if I can find something there.
Thank you, I appreciate it.

Is it bad that I instantly chuckled when I saw his nickname was The Jackal? I have to say, I'm really liking the length of this profile, keeping it short but enjoyable rather than some of the massively long (but still very enjoyable) posts just seems to work really well. If your still looking for art I'll see if I can find anything, usually find something decent enough just by google searching 'Fantasy Rogue Artwork' or something along those lines.
EDIT - Here's a couple that I found...might be useful, might not but thought I'd share them

What's wrong with The Jackal? :/ Thank you for looking, but it's really not what I'm looking for. I found a picture after looking for awhile and while it's still not exactly what I want, it's the best I could find that matches what I wanted.

Oh, nothing, I just chuckled at the combination with his name, I mean 'Jack the Jackal'. Not that funny but it still got me chuckling :P
