I noticed one technique but it's for all weapons not only the bow, not sure if it applies here  When moving forward when sneaking unsheathe the bow. Your character will now move with increased speed until you stop

I've also noticed that (only in 3rd person I believe) and it even works with Bound weapons. I think it may have been added to a T&T discussion already but I may add it to the Melee discussion I'm developing. It will be alot more general so it'd work better there I think.

Well, this is interesting. I imagine its a bit fun trying out these things. :-) But really, if you're a true marksman at heart all you need in this game is the ranger perk. Even without it its still fun as a mental exercise to practice your situationall awareness. I've played archer characters ever since I discovered video games and played an archer on every game that I got my hands on. And whats makes a true archer in games is his/her ability to kite. Kiting is more than simply backing away so that enemies wont get to you. Im sorry if Im rambling. I dont mean to say this guide you put together isnt useful. I suppose viewing this from a non-marksman standpoint, its very useful, but for archers to truly enjoy the art of the bow, he must feel it down to his core. Im really passionate about this art, and I try to make it as real as video games can possibly give.

These technique don't replace traditional Archery (although they can), they simply add to an archer's arsenal if he's caught in close-range or needs to shoot two arrows at once to stagger two enemies closing in (my favorite technique). I'm also an archery fan which drove me to develop these techniques and this guide. I highly recommend you undertake a full-on close ranged archery playthrough relying on these techniques. It'll be your most exhilarating playthrough, guaranteed. And when you perfect these techniques, you will have learned a conetely different playstyle in Skyrim :) I dare you!

Oh I cant even remember how many times I played an archer in slyrim. My early playthroughs before I tried out the Arcane Archer were mostly archers. I tried to play a melee only character at one point, but I didnt have enough will to resist picking up a bow. Even that one ended up being an archer. Ive tried one or two of these things, before you compiled them all. But I did it deliberately. Except on early levels, Ive never got into trouble on enemies getting close to me. TBH, a lot of people who made archer videos dont really make use of kiting. I mean, REAL kiting. An npc archer has more knowledge of it than some of the players Ive seen . Ive been extensively trained on kiting on WoW. Hunters on that game dont get to be invited a second time if you suck at it. Skyrim is the first game ever to introduce the actions of load, draw and shoot archery, or at least the first I ever played. You cant imagine how happy I was to experience every movement of it, which explains why even my attempt to make a non-archer character failed. :-D

I probably didn't play a pure archer in Skyrim until I started developing this list. I was working on my third CB (didn't post the first two) and I fell in love with the skill. Probably played three archers after that too haha. I don't always use these techniques. I had to force myself not to use them at a certain point because they become OP if you perfect them and know just when to use each move. I think I like these tactics so much because I love fighting games (SF particularly) and it felt similar to entering a button combo for a special move. It adds something to Skyrim that wasn't there before: actually having to perform a combo to perform an action instead of tapping a button. I love a challenge so this was right up my alley. I'm glad to have discovered everything here even if others won't ever use them.

Yeah, you may not really use this tricks, but you'll be glad that its there when the need arises. Im very much used to archery in the game that when I started conceptualizing a melee only build to post in the future my first question was "how the hell am I supposed to fight dragons now?" I panicked at that thought. So until now its still in the drawing board. :-D

Hahaha! It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Although you're pretty much a sitting duck until it lands.

PS You suck dood! I'm in the middle of this amazing build but I wanna quit and play an archer again lol!
