It looms upon us again and, of course, cause I was working on a build I totally missed that it was past Nov 1 already. Yes, NaNoWriMo is upon us all again and whether you are choosing to be a rebel like me and use NaNo to catch up on all the projects you got behind on because you were building *cough* sorry Lorc *couch* or you choose to be awesome and write brand new material, this is the thread where we can hold our hands through out the entire month to get this done.

Post what you want here. See it as sort of your Camp NaNo thread, if any of you are familiar with that concept. Post your updated word count, post your story ideas, talk to other NaNonites. :D Cry, laugh, drink coffee or tea. It is all good. This thread is designed to support you, the writers of TSC and Tamriel Vault who decide that tackling 50k words in a month is something you want to do.

And even if you don't make it, write. Simply write, start up that story you've been meaning to, or *cough* finish Straag Rod, Long-Chapper *cough*

Sotek and I will be checking this thread regularly to offer support and our shoulders for crying.

Below are a list of the victims participants for this year, which I will update if you comment below. If you want, I can include your NaNo name so you can be contacted in their website, but that is totally up to you. Let us NaNo together!

    Well, I'll kick things off.

Just so people know, I'm being a rebel this year just like I was last year and working on whatever strikes my fancy, whether it's new material or editing. That will affect my word count. The point for me is to get out there and write, fiinish projects that need finishing.

So far, I've got 13,952 words in and we're on Day 5. Don't be too impressed, most of this was editing, though my build is about 3000 of that total. I didn't write at all on Sunday, because I felt like shit. My goal for the month is to be caught up with my editing.

    How are other people doing?

    *crickets chirping in the fields*

*sighs* well, I'll give an update.

At 18,999 words of editing so far. Making huge headway with my projects so I'm happy about that. The quicker I get caught up with those, the quicker I can return to Straag Rod.

    Hope others are doing well.

I'm lagging behind like it's nobody's business but between Uni work, host details and me trying to fit regular streaming into my schedule I'm actually quite happy with the progress. I still hate what I've written but at least I'm writing stuff daily so that's something.

From what you've told me of the background and lore it sounds great. Very unusual. And don't forget, you are writing real stuff, I'm only editing, so my pace will be faster.

Yeah, I could go on about that lore for ages, but to then actually put all of that to paper is the tricky part.

    Isn't it always?

    time for an update.

Greetings, friends! It's your friendly neighborhood rogue here and while I was going about I saw this dungeon and came in to see what 's up :P

I have two stories I was semi - preparing to post at some point at the TSC so if possible I would require the assistance of a scholar to explain what the NaNoWriMo is and if I 'll be able to participate given that I have the time to do so ofc.

I'm pulling for you, you crazy NaNoWriMo MoFo's xD

If anyone can pull it off, it's our Denizens of The Story Corner. BTW, this thread has made the site's Twitter page. Hopefully it serves as a friendly nudge :D

Thanks, Shin. I am sitting at 26,272 words now.

@Duvain - National Novel Writing Month. It's where writers from all over the world ban together in November and aim to write 50k of material. You'll often see me and Sotek mention NaNo or NaNoing. We have three major events that we participate in in TSC

NaNoWriMo - Nov 1-30, the major event where there is a 50k word goal

Camp NaNo - April, where we hold camps of like-minded individuals and we aim to write or edit at least 10k of material.

Camp NaNo - July, same thing as April, except in July.

I'm, I think, a two year veteran. This is my third NaNoWriMo.
