    Awwwooo to one and all

Usualy I add my updates in my ToC but this time I am creating a whole new discussin for it as it actualy will affect all writers here so please bear with me here.

Due to limitations placed upon me at work, I find muself rather limited in what I can do with regards to writing new chapters and editing older ones. Currently at this point in time I have posted 228 chapters and I have 140 chapters to edit which have yet to be posted. These limitations at work make such tasks nigh on impossible so I find myself in a rather unusual position.

The only real way I can progress my story with writing new content and editing old is if I have all my content here on the site. This means I will be posting the unedited chapters as blogs and adding their links to my ToC. Now I'm not going to hijack the blogs and post everything at once so what I will be doing is adding one chapter a day with an Author's Note stating the chapter hasn't been edited so the work is rough.

If anyone should want to read these chapters then by all means do so. Bear in mind though that there are a massive amount of grammar issues with them, they have not been checked for Blog Members to read nor are they word perfect. The plots and story arcs/ characters/ and events may and sometimes will change when I eventualy get around to editing them. Please don't take these chapters as finished nor set. Often I change around characters and switch their roles during editing. Think of these chapters as Works In Progress.Yes, I know we have a workshop for this but due to the scale and sheer size and time line I am working on, to use the workshop would be a nightmare. As Blogs they would get buried over time except fo rlinks to them which would be in my ToC.

What this means for you all is that your stories may be burried somewhat quicker than you or I would like. This isn't an ideal situation I know but I am unable to use USB Sticks, One Drive is limited due to the computer. I've tried emailing chapter sections to myself and this rapidly becomes a tangled mess. The blogs are the one place I can access and work on chapters without pulling red flags or causing issues other than the one I stated with you all.

I have looked into hiding the blogs but this causes certain issues as well. Readers cannot follow my progress and when I post whole new chapters the readers won't be able to make sense of them. The rough chapters will probably take me the best part of the next two three years to edit. Using the main blogs I can keep the story alive.

Also during this time I am slowly adding chapter titles to all my chapters, (so far 360 of them) and I am changing the end of chapter link bars slightly.

As before I will happily recieve any feedback although it will be in the readers interest to keep feedback to events and plots rather than grammar as there are simply too many bugs in these pieces. As time goes on I will be editing each chapter while also writing new chapters so at least my story can make some progress.

Don't feel you all have to accept this situation. You are more than welcome to express your concerns over this by commenting below. There may be the odd day when the blogs seem quiet that I take advantage of it and post two chapters but I am aware each time I do this your chapters become buried quicker. I wil not take this lightly I assure you all.

Feel free to comment and air your views.

Hey, Sotek. I'm not sure you know, which you maybe should as a TSC Host, but you can post a Blog without Publishing it. You have those options everytime you post a new blog. What does it mean? It means that you post a Blog no one can see and once you edit it you Publish it. What happens is that the Blog will appear in the main feed and the sidebar as if it has been regulary posted, it will only have a different post date. At least this is what I managed to observe. Anyway, you can also create one unpublished blog with pretty much as many chapters as you want and just copy each chapter to new blog. Just giving you other options. Be sure to play around with it.

I've had a look at it Karver. Due to this situation I am in it doesn't help. This is ok for the odd chapter when someone is working on it but due to the amount of work there is to do, these chapters might not be ready for propper publishing for many moons to come. I am also working on entierly new chapters to advance my story. By going the route I suggested, readers can at least follow the story and the various events in it. Also, links change when you swap a draft to a published chapter. Denying readers these chapters will just add confusion and make my story impossible to follow.

Just said my opinion, mate, because I think that this way you'll be only hurting your story. Which is why I suggested making one big Draft Blog housing all chapters and just copying those finished into fresh new blogs.

Oh I know this is potentialy damaging and there will be reprocussions with it. I am expecting readers to turn away and to lose interest due to the lack of quality control. There's been so much going on and I wish I could explain to everyone but I can't. This month I have had so many doors close to me due to certain situations. This is the one way I can keep the story in order and still work on it.

It may seem reckless and a bit stupid ( I agree if it wasn't for the fact that I know I have exausted al other options) but this really is a make or break situation. I may well turn away 70-80% of my readers with this and I hate myself for saying it but I feel it's my one chance to save my story. This may sound a bit of an exageration but I'm on the edge of an abyss with this; such is the desperate steps I need to take.
