    Awwwooo to one and all.

I can't help but notice Wulf that you have a few projects which are on hold. It reminds me of a friend of mine who plays WoW (World of Warcraft) he ceates new characters then within a wek he scrubs them and creates new ones. I've nothing against this but I do have a few questions for you which may help.

Why do you want to write, as you put it, a story with the BEST idea to it? That's a big goal to reach for and one set for faliure.

Bear with me here Wulf and I'll do my best to explain.

UOTW. It's a long story about an Argonian who is making his way in the world in the ranks of the Companions.

Not everyone has read it. Not everyone will. Some say 'one day I'll read it'. I know they never will. I know at this point it will be very rare for someone to read a chapter of it then goto chater one and read them all. It will never be the best story. I can easily tell you the best story in TSC.... There isn't one. It doesn't exist.

If I wanted a story where everyone would read and enjoy then I wouldn't pair up an Argonian with a psychotic bitch and give them numerous problems. But then some people like Sotek and Aela.

I write my story with specific goals aimed at myself and Aela the wife. If others feel there's something I should change and I can do so without breaking this ermmm, 'directive' then I will do so.

Other writers here have different criteria which they follow.

What is it you want to get out of writing a story? This is the most important question becuase without this you have nothing.

What do you want your main character/characters to be like?

Do you intend to expand on this/these characters? (It can be argued that Aela and Sotek in my story are the main chars but there are a fair few who are close to being main chars as well. I've got around 13 mainish chars who appear regularly and even have their own story arcs).

What race do you like playing? This is a big help. I don't like playing as an Elf. So, for me to have an elf of any type or description as a main char would be doomed from the start.

You have to decide what you want to write about, who you want to be in it. What you want them to do and what you want to get out of it.

It's no good asking readers what race should I write about or do you think this sounds like a story you would read.

The char needs to be someone you want to write about. The story arc has to be something you like.

The top question is this. What do YOU want to write about?

    I hope this helps Wulf.

    Awwwooo Medieval.

I've had a quick look and it's looks goood so far. I've a few questions if I may. Is the site you are building in effect a central hub to contain all the different sections of your story?

If so then could I enquire as to whether you will be repeating the overal project in TSC and TV as a whole? If so then it's duplicate work. All this means is you increase exposure to readers. I've nothing against that at all.

If however you aren't going to have a copy of the overal project in TSC /TV then can I ask why not?

That's a serious question. I would like to think TSC and TV can cater for the members needs and if you have a large scale project which you feel doesn't fit here even though it's heavily based around TES and Skyrim then I feel it needs to be looked at and if possible addressed.

:O!, Hey hello Sotek, about your first question, yes, I'm using the site as a base, I'm putting there all official finished content related to my TES fan project, also help me to have a place to see all in order and organized,

I had a blog post here on Tamrielvault http://tamrielvault.com/blogs/6990/4419/my-project-a-tes-fan-story  , but I decided to put it "under development" state, what I was doing on that blog post was a TOC but it was not "serious" in terms of post finish content, the things post there were mostly things in development, later I change more than one time, so to avoid posting underdevelopment content what would possible change, I decided to delete all the entries of the TOC and make that blog post as "under development" state, for now, until I decided to move the official content of my web site to the blog post of Tamrielvault. I will like to share my TES FAN story here on Tamrielvault aswell of course, but for now I'm working about it on my web site. That doesn't meant I will not post other things here on Tamrielvault, I have been very active lately on Tamrielvault, I enjoy the site, so for example I had created some things made for here on Tamrielvault as the TSC's Book and Terminal event, because the fan in-game book I have created is realted to my story, also some images, so I'm going to post time to time related to my story here but on appropiate topics (groups), but my blog post TOC of my TES fan story will wait for now, because yes copying the same content on Tamrielvault isa lot of work, but I will like to do it too aswell.

About other thing TSC and TV, :O! ... that would be good,

Thanks Sotek for consider that about TSC and TV, this is a large time project, for now I'm starting with the first chapter, I have all solved what will be about, I just need to take my time, do some thinking, read lore and write. My story will have style of Games of Thrones books, in terms of having differents points of view (POVs), all joined in one main topic and will be a lot of plottery, also the main idea will make people to think.

We can talk more about, I got you on Steam, a good place to chat at real time, or just send me a message (PM) by here.

Wow, Sotek. I ... well, there's a reason I use this site for my blogs! A response like that is helpful, uplifting and inspiring. Thanks, my scaly friend. And by the BEST idea, I meant the one that really clicks for me - where it runs well and smoothly in my head, without jutting and being blunt and brutal. Y'know? I have OCD, and if something (in my mind) isn't good enough, I just go into full shutdown mode. I'm busy working on a character as of now, but he won't be up for a while. Thanks for your help, mate.

Sounds like me and The Imperial Auditor lol

I will, I will, I will get back to it, Auguris has a story that needs to be told *argh*

lol. That's true, though for me it's not the writing itself that's a problem, it's what I write. I've rewritten the first part of Chapter 2 for my story like 5 times now. Argh, I just can't get it how I want it. D:

    Maybe we can help?

Eh, it's not the content per say. What happens in the chapter remains the same. It's just... how I present it, I guess. I keep writing something, going to edit it, and then think about how I could portray this part better, or clear some of this up, ect. I've finished it (For now), so I'm finally able to start working on the other POV's in the chapter.
