    A good question....

    Well...

    Oblivion had Hircine command you to hunt down the White Unicorn.

    Morrowind Bloodmoon had the White Spirit Bear

    Skyrim has the White Deer which you kill to speak to Hircine.

    Morrowind, there was the White Guar near Vos (Not Hircine related but the wise woman relates to a 'Hunter').

    I can see that, but hunting a white animal like a deer, bear, or whatever were always seen as a way of proving yourself as a hunter because those animals had mythic powers. That only applies to real world pagan religions, but I always thought it applied to ES world just the same.

    On Protected, no longer story, a lil spoiler as I'm so excited about it. ^^;

    I think I'm going to let Rang kill Tellik at some point. It's going epic on Rang's side and personal on Tellik's side. I've been trying to find a suitable music and ended up with "Darth Malak Battle" from  Star Wars: Knights of Old Republic game. It just going to be damn epic as it happens on a iconic place as the Valtheim Towers. :3

    Other than that, I'm currently working a new chapter.

    Just wondering what some of the strangest things to end up in your search history doing research for your story, CB, or Lore were. I for one have ended up on pages about squirrel anatomy; hits for a prayer group for veterans and for satanic cults with the same search query; memior of a US Civil War surgeon; teen pregnacy support line; and traditional japenese arrow fletching to name a few.

    Nothing strange really. It's mostly technical stuff like types of ships, arrowheads, acoustics, medieval food, ancient china etc.

    AGHHHHH! Does anyone else think they've ahd the best idea and only later once you've posted your first two chapters that you don't like ypour lead char? Is it acceptable to pull your own stories down, and start soemthing new? I'm workign on this: How does a story about a high elf studier of dwemer culture and metals working with Sofia, Inigo and Meeko (from the fabulous meeko reborn mod) sound? I'm thinking of going with this - I've got a fabulous story arc planned out, as well. Dunno. Thoughts?

    Any help would be great guys - thank you for being such a helpful active and kind community <3

    Would you be willing to share any details about your characters and their arcs? Talking it out might help flesh out your characters and story, and allow you craft a story that will be more to your liking to write. As far as I'm concerned, it's okay to remove stories, but it shouldn't be made a habit of. Your audience will quickly grow tired. Or, we can try to salvage your current story if you'd like.

    oH, I'm not deleting my current story, just putting it on hold while I work on something I think will be far better. I'll explain in a second.

    My new story focuses on Caralil, a high elf obsessed with dwemer culture. he heads to skyrim via boat, but is shipwrecked (alt. start) and has to survive. heading to whiterun to salavage gear, he meets Sofia, who he reluctantly takes along. He also meets Meeko, a three-legged ginger dog (Meeko Reborn) and yusing some dwemer scraps, heals him up and makes him a dwemer leg! It's a story of adventure, and Inigo will show up as well. I'll go into more depth in the ToC - he'll be wearing the dwemer mage armor from immersive armors with the mantle of the silver hand from immersive armors. thoughts? That's just the bare bone - I',m not giving away the story arc for spoiler's sake.  :)

    thoughts?

    I have a few questions, actually. Would you be willing to tell us anything about the characters? And how interested are you specifically invested in Dwemer culture? I ask because it'll be a lot more fun to write if you've chosen a main character who is interested in something you are, or is interested in something you're willing to learn about it. Sicne you describe him as someone obsessed with dwemer culture, I'd expect his story to be full of insights into the culture with a fair amount of detail surrounding their social structures and engineering methods. The dwemer leg sounds cool, and it tells me that this guy knows what he's doing. Since he's already an expert, Skyrim must hold something of great power, right?

    I'm just spitballing, hoping one of these will give you something to brainstorm on. It's harder when I don't know the arc, but I won't push you to share it. Just really consider where the arc takes the character and whether his interest in the dwemer is an integral part of his character, or just a cool idea that sounds good. That'll help you stick with the story more.
