Love Poetry of Tamriel

  • June 27, 2016

So a little idea I just bandied about in the comments section...

    LOVE POETRY OF TAMRIEL!!

If anyone is interested in writing short odes of amour for the various inhabitant's of Nirm, this could be the place for you!

Choose any race or creature, and write the poem from their point of view!

Or I could just do it myself...

    Trudge, trudge, trudge

I need love to warm my frozen blade

    It is big and sharp

    Play it like a harp

I may be big, but don't be afraid.

Trudge, trudge-- oops snapped off her head.

    Carnage Aplenty

    Ian S. McClure

    Oh, the night is young,

    The wizards are many!

    I'll sing a song—

    Before carnage aplenty!

I have been called many things,

Enchanter and warrior and farmer of corn,

These days, the peasants and kings,

    They all call me 'Dragonborn'!

When I saved Whiterun from dragon attack—

It was a battle fought during the rain.

It was really a huge pain in the back—

Even if they now call me Thane!

But there is one good thing that came out of this,

a housecarl I came to call wife.

Oh, to be with her was simply bliss!

And we seemed set for life.

    But then the wizards attacked,

and my beloved, she left me forever.

    Enraged, I made an artifact,

With the soul they had taken from her!

Now, my sweet within the warhammer,

let us be off into the night.

For life has once again lost it's glamour,

And I'm itching for a fight.

    For the night is young,

    The wizards are many!

    I've sung this song—

    Now, carnage aplenty!

((This is a poemwell, actually, a song, that I whipped up rather quickly, so forgive me if it sucks. Thanks for reading!))

The Swinging Spriggan I love being out amongst the trees All that wood makes me weak at the knees The wind plays my branches like a flute And the earth holds tight my throbbing root

    I like Altmer.
    They are nice.
    I wish to eat
    My partner's lice.
    I am an ape
    And I wear a cape.
    Ooh ooh aah aah ooh!

    The Falmer's Flame

My falmer girl is a beauty, I think

    I can't see her face

I can just smell her stink

    Hear her guttural growls

    When she is fightin'

    She's all rough and scaly

    When wearing chitin
