My inspiration from this build came from For Honor. Playing through the main campaign there were three classes I loved from each faction. I plan on making builds for all three of them in Skyrim. For this build I kept thinking of the Warden and Apollyon. The Warden being whom the player controls through the Knights Campaign. He's a just and honorable warrior with a kind heart. Apollyon is a cruel war driven woman, who only wants to watch the world burn. I took both of them and mashed them together in Skyrim and came up with this!

    Hope you enjoy!

I was born into the Order of the Hour in Wayrest. My father being one of the Grand Sermonizer's. Many have thought that the Order was lost in the Second era, but we continued to serve justice under the guidance of Akatosh. My bloodline was seeped into the Order going back generations. This means I was expected to follow in my father’s footsteps to be one of the Sermonizer's. Never given the choice my training started at a very young age. Learning the ways of healing and sparing with wooden swords. By the time I finished my training half the order were dispatched to Hammerfell and the other half to Cyrodiil. Heathen's were trying to take over Tamriel and out rule the worship of one with Akatosh's blood.

Father was Sent to Cyrodiil we're the great Aspect of Akatosh defeated Mehrunes Daegon. I was sent to Hammerfell to push out the heathens invading there to the south.  We joined the survivors of the March of Thirst along with many others from Daggerfall.  Together we broke the seige on Hegathe and fought at Skaven. I spent most my time as a healer, but was able to fight in a few skirmishes.

When we got word that the Imperial City fell my heart sunk in my check for I knew my father was at the Temple of Akatosh. We left Hammerfell with the Legion there to get in position to reclaim the Imperial City. What came next can only be described as genocide. The battle of the Red Ring. We launched our attack from the Colovian Highlands. They never saw us coming. While two other Imperial armies charged from different directions. Destroying the heathens and retaking the city.

After the war was ended I went in search of my father, to no luck. He was nowhere to be found.  My heart ached and my mind spun. Then the empire betrayed us with the Signing of the White-Gold Concordant. A slap in the face for those of us fighting to protect the worship of Akatosh's blood. My Order was dispatched back to Hammerfell where the fight against the heathens was alive and well. We fought for years till there was hardly anyone in my order left. Our leader summoned us back to Wayrest to regroup and plot out our next move against the Thalmor.

We acquired a boat to sail back home from Hammerfell. While on that boat we finally had time to rest while we could, but I could not do so unsure of my father’s fate. That is when it happened. I heard a voice in my head. A deep slow voice, offering me a trade. Knowledge of my father for knowledge of our Order. I knew I shouldn't of accepted, but my foolish heart got in the way. I accepted… and as I did I heard screaming on deck and the cracking of wood. Giant tendrils engulfed the ship one reaching in and passed through my head like ether. As it happened the voice rang in my head again "Your father was far more resilient than you. He died withholding information from me. I, Hermaeus Mora, killed your father." Then everything went black. I woke up with a crushed boat behind me and no knowledge of myself or the world.

    Class: Knight/BattleMage

    Difficulty: Expert

    Race: Breton.

    Gender: Male

    Age 54

Stats: 1/1/1  Do this till level 30, you should have 200 Magicka and 200 Stamina. Then focus on just health.

Standing Stone: Warrior Stone till you regain your memories. Then switch to the Lord Stone.

Shouts: Unrelenting Force till you get Cyclone, Marked for Death, Call of Valor, Dragon Aspect and Storm Call.

Factions: Blades, College of Winterhold, and Dawnguard.

Quest: Main, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, College of Winterhold, Book of Love, Daedric, and Blades Quest.

Mods: Mods are optional, but if you can use them I'd recommend it.

-Fallen Knight Armor: This armor fits the character perfectly, but so does Ebony or Dawngaurd Armor. This also comes with a two handed greatsword, but just the same a dwarven greatsword will work and look the part.

-Alternate Start Live another Life: You want to choose the ship wrecked option and slowly make your way south eventually running into helgen.

-Wildcat- Combat of Skyrim: This combat overhaul will make combat quicker, but more challenging. You will take more damage, but deal more as well. Stamina also becomes a huge hazard, if you run out your swings will be slow.

-Miraak Dragonborn Follower: This is the most important mod. It will allow you to free Miraak from Mora's clutch's by bending his will to yours and fight with him against Hermaeus.

-Yield 2.0: This mod allows enemy npc's the chance to surrender, instead of always fighting till the death.

When his ship crashed he was still dawning his armor. You can use console commands to spawn in the Fallen Knight Armor and use it through the entire playthrough. If you're not using mods you can use the Dawnguard heavy armor. You also want to use console commands to spawn in his greatsword which also comes with the mod. If you're not using mods just use a dwarven greatsword. Along with that he wears a amulet of Akatosh and a ring of stamina regen.

The first half of the build is centered on the character slowly figuring out who he is. Learning he is adept at certain skills and abilities. At first it will just be his fighting prowess. with the use of his two handed sword and heavy armor. Relearning his skills while doing combat. Eventually remembering how to block and the use of divine restoration spells. He only uses Healing Spells. No wards or turn undead While in this stage you want to wonder the world helping anyone you can and defending Skyrim from it's enemies and sometimes itself.

In combat you want to take the moral high ground. Fighting enemies head on, when they're prepared. No attacking draugr before they have stood up and drawn their weapon. With weaker opponents often give them the first swing as a sign of good will before cutting their head off. If you're using the mod Yield 2.0 then if someone surrenders you leave them be and let them live another day. If he finds himself outnumbered he will use shouts. The only exception being anyone else who uses the voice.

When he reads the Oghma Infinium it gives him back all of his memories. He swears to enact revenge for what Hermaeus Mora did to him and his father. Doing so would be no easy feat, he needed to get stronger. He starts committing his time towards learning more defensive magic to counter his enemy. Training in Alteration and increasing his abilities with his current skills. He still helps those in need, but rushes through it to return to his plans of revenge.

Combat as the Vengeful is more straight forward. He will no longer hesitate to kill his foes right away by any means necessary. Using shouts  on every opponent. He will also use the environment around him if he feels it will speed up the fight. Using oil or shouting someone off a mountain. He just wants to get on to hunting down Hermaeus. If he is fighting a powerful foe he will now use paralyze to knock them to the ground from range then using his Great Critical Charge to deal massive amount of damage before they had a chance. Against undead he uses Stendarr's Aura to melt them away while he hacks them in two.

Loving this concept of The Forgotten and how you've woven in Akatosh with Hermeous Mora here. Though that should probably come as no surprise, given that I'm a pretty big fan of Akatosh. :D I like the "bending Miraak to your will" concept to take on HM. You weren't kidding about those awesome screenshots!! Those seekers are creepier than I ever thought possible.

I caught just few typos (I ALWAYS miss my own after I write and stare at the screen for hours on end, so my posts are constantly riddled with them) so I'll send you some updated source code with the typo fixes so you should be able to just drop it in. The layout here is fantastic, and I know the editor can be fickle, so I figured that might work best to help preserve it. :)

Looking forward to seeing the Nexus mod list included too! Nice work! :D

Thanks Edana! The Order of the Hour was actually a real order of knights in the first and second era. There is still a temple dedicated in Wayrest too. They even hold festivals in their honor there. I thought it would be a perfect fit for The Forgotten.

Nexus is finally back up so the mods are all linked up now. Thank you for all your help with text wrapping and now the source!

That's riiiiiight. Maybe the "For Honor" reference at the very beginning threw me for a loop, but I'm remembering it vaguely from my ESO stint a few months ago. I was playing mostly through the Pact and some of the Dominion questline, so I might have just breeeeeezed through Wayrest on horseback once or twice and that was it. :D I never made it too far into Covenant or to Gold Coast.

Apart from the few references I did catch, I didn't think too much about them or remember to go back and look it up after playing. Lore has never been my strong suit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sounds like I need to do some research or get ESO going again. :)

And you're most welcome. Happy to help!

Ah, now this is glorious. Lots of boxes ticked here, with the theme, lore, and story arc. I'm quite partial to Old Mora and Miraak, and the way you've presented the Order of the Hour, Akatosh, and the hero's quest for revenge against The Gardener of Men really seem to emphasise the connections and duality or shared aspects of these two beings.

The screesnhots are truly superb, and the presentation is delightful. I'm just sad because I don't think Xbox gamers can access the Miraak Dragonborn Follower mod which I have wanted since forever :D Awesome sauce :)

Damn, pretty interesting build overall Valric, very interesting. I like the weird combination of Akatosh and Herma Mora being present in the build, love Herma so it's good to see him being his usual self. Yeah, not sure if I've got much to add because everyone else has already said it, honestly the images are all amazing, the build is well written. Definitely a good build (and you're up to Apprentice now :D)

By Mora's tangled testicles, Valric I could kiss you! That slipped past me! It's only a few months old for us... Oooh, and there should still be the Hermaeus Priestess armour mod somewhere too. A healthy dose of inspiration and help from you, dude, thank you! :)
