    Haha! Lol!

Yeah this build was definitely a fun one, its pretty amazing how far a health absorption weapon can take you in the game, i did a small test on master difficulty vs a bunch of giants and mammoths and dominated nicely.

This guy was a really rewarding playthough, glad you liked him Matthew!

I've only used the blade of woe and mercer's sword. I can't even imagine a 2 hander with health absorption. Also should I ignore the mainquest? Its not exactly a dementing quest.

I didn't touch the main quest with this guy (apart from letting the dragons loose).I broke into the college of winterhold through the midden and intimidated the conjuration master into dishing out the secrets of necromancy, then i just wandered around feeding my sword with the black star.

He doesn't really have a place in the world, he just wanders and eats stuff...

    Didnt think so. Thanks.

Mason, is there a precursor for the ghost? I followed the instructions but it was a no show.

That ghost is a true pain in the ass!

Did you follow the instructions to the absolute letter?

You must walk from Morthal to Kjenstag, no fast travelling! No waiting at the ruins for him to show! The time must be after 8pm! You must save the game when you arrive at Morthal in case he gets away and you miss your chance.

Like i said in the build, i was definitely able to pick my set up at level 4! It is not level locked in any way, it just requires strict methods to pick up for some reason.

The entire four piece set can be found in Forelhost during the quest Siege on the Dragon Cult. The armor is worn by the ghosts of the Dragon Cult who appear as transparent Draugr.

which is just behind riften if you dont mind fast travelling by carriage and hwile your in riften kill grelod so two birds with one stone

not to mention in the ruins you can kill rahgot the dragon priest whose mask gives +70 stamina

    @tcain

I know that there are other places to pick up a set of ancient armor, the point of using Kjenstag is that a level 1 character can pick it up nice and early without getting slaughtered by draugr. Cheers for pointing Forelhost out though, its a good follow up mission for this character to get more sets of armor to enchant.

What should the enchantments on the armorial be?
  • June 17, 2012

    A little fortify conjuration...

Then fortify health/health regen, fortify one/two handed and most of all magical resistance!
