This build looks great, but I just have one question. Aren't the Light Armor perks Wind Walker and Custom Fit useless since you're not wearing a light armor hood? The Aetherial Crown is a circlet.

Actually - you're right on Wind-walker...missed that thanks - good catch! Unhindered just removes weight from any light armor you're wearing as far as I know. I'll make a note in the write up. Thanks again.

Helluvah build, Motty :D A maccabre cat has never looked so appealing, and I find myself waning to read more from the Journal of the Worm Fang. This is on the To Play list, for sure. Pure fun, no hassle, showcased wonderfully by your video :)

Kind words Phil! Yeah I was suprised at how quickly it all came together. Probably one of the most 'powerful' starts to the game I can recall. I was actually worried it wouldn't be viable and yet there I am taking out the Forge Master before level 12. Thanks again!

Honestly, I've noticed that my builds had a certain extra umph in the earlier levels too. I think it's because the numbers in the two used skills are significantly higher than they would be if we perked other skills as well. I mean, my dual-wielder took on Treva's Watch and Faldar's Tooth on his own and my Archer was zipping her way through the Dwemer ruins of the Thieves guild. My mage sailed through Labyrinthian. At much lower levels than I'd normally take a build if I were perking other skills.

Now, to your build. I really enjoyed this, Motty. Great use of gear and using what you got. Khajiit claws, I bet, were really strong.

    Vampire kitty!

I agree, the last two playthroughs I have done have been using only two perked skills and as an approoach to building it really gives the character focus. A memorable and defined experience can be achieved by level 25, with the option then of branching into other skills as the RP or gameplay dictates. I think this build demonstrates that nicely, the character is well rounded and viable without there being a need for fluff skills simply for the sake of having them, the small skill pool the character does have makes him very specialised and powerful.

Out of curiosity, Motty, if you were to continue playing to higher levels and decided on a new skill, what would you choose and why? Was there a moment in your RP or game in general that made you think, "now would be a perfect excuse/reason/opportunity to start learning (the next skill)?"

Well the original plan was to get to necromage in Resto. Obviously Fists of Steel was a thought. But I actually am craving a ranged attack of my own. Like I wish I could use the vampiric drain bomb outside of VL form. Something like that. Or a fireball. The idea of nuking my foes and thralls in a fiery bomb seems like fun. I'm still playing him. So I'll keep you posted!

There is a lot that makes me smile about this build. I played a vampie kitty once and she was a fun playthrough. Gloves of the Pugalist are usually destroyed and one of the things I enjoyed especially about this build is that you use them in their full glory. I want to now rerun a vampie kitty, but with ring of the beast, because I didn't know about that ring when I first did evil dovah kitty.

I know you were a bit builded out because of the Fallout event that was just before this, so extra thanks to you, Motty, for coming out and having fun with us. You'll see me in May over in your corner of the Vault. :D

Duuuude a Lissette build in Fallout CB would be so hype. Noodles and I have some really cool stuff coming that I think you'd love if you can find the time.
