What quests do you recommend to play with this build?

When I played it, I took on anything that had undead in it; Dawnguard, Meridia, the Potema quests, Hilgrund's Tomb, Ranveigs Fast, Shroud Hearth Barrow--if it had undead in it, I put them down, raised them, and put them down again. SO much freaking fun! xD

Thanks for the advice, Shinjin. I haven't gotten around to a lot of the content in Skyrim, - although I've owned it since it came out - so I wasn't sure where to take myself. In fact, I haven't even finished the main storyline, or any of them to be honest.

BTW your character builds are great.

I actually ignored the main quest for this playthrough, bypassing all the dragon drama in favor of some good old-fashioned undead hunting xD

But that's one of my favorite Skyrim pastimes. That's what I enjoy most about playing other people's builds.... just use the build as a vehicle to pursue what you have the most fun doing;D

And thank you for the kind words :D

I restarted my character and I'm doing the quests you recommended and having a blast. Thanks!

To further reinforce what ShinJin said, I too just looked for tombs on the compass and cleansed them of undead. Any quest involving undead or necromancers was also on my to do list.

I've tweaked this very slightly by using a Breton, rather than a Reguard, as the back story that I've created fits a Breton much more from a narrative perspective.  I'm also avoiding returning the Dragonstone to Farangar this time to avoid using any shouts :).

Regarding Discerning the Transmudane.  Did you complete this quest?  It's very tempting for the bonuses to Destruction and Restoration, given how slowly they level, would reading the Ogma Infinium be against the lore of the build?  It may be possible to justify on the grounds of increasing knowledge to fight against Hermaeus Mora, but it's also effectively siding with a Daedra who is hardly going to be friendly towards a Daemon Hunter Mage.  Similarly, the Black Books fall into the same category.  To read them or to avoid them.  How did you handle it?

Hey Irissa! :) The Ash'abah fight "fire" with "fire" so it's okay to use dark magic as long as nobody gets hurt (i.e. how exorcism works by raising npcs and killing them). Septimus is a daedra worshipper so he has it coming. But since you came up with your own backstory, you're free to think of anything. If you have difficulty, tell me your character's story and I'll help out.

Thank Noodles :).  I can certainly make it work through not doing evil acts.  My character is very much interested in acquiring knowledge, so as to prevent it causing harm to others, so that would fit with reading the Ogma Infinium, as it could cause untold havoc in the hands of a vampire, necromancer, or some other evil being.  The same would be true of the black books.

I've been recently toying with the idea of adding enchanting and heavy armor to the list of skills. I've come up with this idea of soul trapping the most powerful undead and imprisoning them into a piece of armor or a weapon. The problem is that I haven't been able to find a SE mod which would allow me to soul trap any npc. There are mods on the normal edition of the game that allow this so maybe you could use it.

Firstly, which undead in particular are you thinking of Soul Trapping, that you need a mod to do it? Potema?

I'm a little more worried about Enchanting. If you only Soul Trap the most powerful undead, how are you going to level the skill?

Also, how would you justify the use of Heavy Armor in the build? Walking around a desert in plate mail is just asking for it, isn't it?
