Haha that's fine ! Actually I don't think that Magical Dominance works with giants and automatons. The move is more intended to block fire, frost or shock attacks. So using it against dwarmen constructs or giants would be pretty useless. But, it does fend off a dwarven centurion's steam attack. Also, summoned creatures do indeed hold their ground, or at least they have for me. But if summons stop working well, necromancy can come in handy. Since monsters are levelled, you can revive strong enough enemies, which can be very helpful.

A very nice build indeed! The rest before have said it so there is no need for me to mention how much a staff based build is needed. Whilst the presentation and pictures used are well in taste, the combat section could use some tweaking. I'll try to guide, but the changes in the end need to be of your doing: Abyssal wrath: skull of corruption damages everything in it's radius... Yes, that includes your summoned atronachs/minions. If you do intend to maintain skull of corruption in this tactic, perhaps a little tweaking of spells used might be in order. There are options... Choose wisely. Magical Dominance: The strength of the staff of Magnus lies not only in it's ability to drain/absorb magicka but to also drain/absorb health once all magicka has been drained. To truly fight mages, dragons and any such enemies of arcane nature, it would be advised to hasten the process of magicked depletion. A single replacement or addition of an item to this move would make it truly terrifying indeed.... The above is meant to guide but to be answered by you. Well done on this build and I'm eager to see what changes you might do to refine your build. Till then, I'm saving my like, though I'd want to give to you anyways. Thanks.

Thanks ! And I'll try to think about something in the next days. I'm just wondering : would a potion of Fortify Destruction help the staff of Magnus ? Cause I read that the Staff is listed as a Restoration staff, but uses a Destruction effect (drain magicka/health). So could a potion work ?

Although the staff uses the destruction effect, potions don't buff it afaik, but restoration potions will buff the health absorb. Also, although I can understand your gripe with staff enchanting, crafting a lightning staff might be really good, as it has an AOE stagger effect. Think Windshear in steroids. Other than that, great build, very nice to see staffs getting some love from the community (since they have been made rather shallow/uninteresting by the devs).

Sorry for not being specific on the last post, the staff I mentioned is the chain lightning one specifically. Nevertheless, I hope you find it useful =)

This is a pretty cool build, and that's saying a bunch because I normally don't go in for staff builds. I've done so much in Skyrim, but I still haven't really sat down and dedicated myself to a staff build... probably going to have to change that ;D

Again, great job on this :D
