    The Gourmetzerker

There aren't many things you can do to have fun in Skyrim, but you can widely do the two things a Gourmetzerker likes doing in this life: Killing and eating. There is plenty of meat to eat in Skyrim (wolves, bears, men, mer, dragons), but a true gourmet knows meat needs to be beaten so it will taste better, so make sure to always carry a hammer to beat any meat you find in your travels.

A Gourmetzerker is an Orc, that travels Skyrim beating with his hammer everything that gets in his way, and eating his spoils. With an early Longhammer and Ring of Namira (getting the Elemental Fury shout soon after that), the gourmetzerker is just so strong early in the game that you can't help but enjoy the fantasy of beeing a massive Orc with muscles for brains, rampaging throught any enemy silly enough to get in your way. Smithing and Alchemy will empower you Longhammer even more, while Heavy Armor, Alteration and Block will make sure you are always the hunter and never the prey.

    Meet our hero: Thog.

Thog always wanted to write his memories into a diary, unfortunately Thog never learnt how to read or write. Thog usually eats the books and letters he finds during his travels. With help from a scholar Thog decided not to eat, Thog can now share all his knowledge with future Gourmetzerkers all around Tamriel.

Thog is a true gentleman. Thog likes good food and good drinks, people always says the expensive wines are better than the cheap ones, since alchemic potions  are so expensive, that means they taste better... Thog drinks LOTS of those.   As a gentleman, Thog likes to dress fine; that means wearing SHYNY stuff. Armors shine, enchanted armor shines EVEN MORE, and using the magical knowledge Thog gets eating all those spellbooks Thog can use Alteration to shine as the sun itself. Since Thog finds weird you can't enchant itens just by beating them with a soulgem, Thog buys his own shiny itens with the gold he gets from his travels and spare potions. Sometimes Thog ends up wearing stuff from different sets, Thog thinks that make me look swaggy.

Thog's history started one night he drunk so much Thog lost his special ring that makes people taste really good and someone stole his favourite hammer. Thog ended up being arrested and set to Helgen to be executed. Without he's favourite things in the world, Thog gave up on life. But, when he was about to die, he saw IT: A giant, black, winged lizard. And that was when Thog decided: "I will eat this thing". Thog escaped Helgen and went to get his stuff back, so he could eat one of those things.

It was near Whiterun Thog was finally able to eat a Dragon. The taste was worth all that beating. The weird thing was eating thee dragon made Thog burp in a weird way. Those simple minded Nords were so impressed by Thog's burping skills they called him Dragonburp (or something like that). Thog was then sent to train to Burp while saying different worlds, which Thog found fun and does before any battle as a ritual. Some people tould Thog that black dragon from before was called "Alduin: the world eater"... Thog will show that flying peace of meat who's the eater around.

When he was little Thog wanted to have a puppy, but his mom say he would end up eating the dog, so Thog never had one. Thog joined the Companions because he could smell they had puppies around. They didn't give Thog a puppy, instead they turned Thog into HIS OWN PUPPY... Talk about a dream coming true. It was also there Thog found his first love:

When the old men died, Thog knew he had to lead that poor bunch of people, so Thog said "Thog harbinger now". Everyone agreed. They like Thog, they always said Thog is a "special one". Thog also loves talking to Farkas, he seems smart. Once I become their ruler (ops, Thog meant to say harbinger) they would train Thog and then gave Thog's money back. Good way for Thog to train Heavy Armor and Block while having gold to buy some shiny equipment.

Once done with both  the Companions and Alduin, Thog joined a group of vampire hunter. Thog doesn't actually hate vampiers, but they drink the blood of people. That being said, Thog needs to eat all those pesky vampires to show who is the final boss of the food chain.

After all this, Thog realised he had eaten everything he could in Skyrim, so Thog's now going to Solsteim, looking for new flavors to eat.

    Gameplay

Playing as a gourmetzerker is as simple as Skyrim gets: You cast Elemental Fury and beat everything you find into submission. Strong enemies require you boost yourself with some alchemy (a good meal requires a good potion). When facing dragons or any kind of boss (or a crowded room)  you can cast Berserker Rage to unlock the true power of the Gourmetzerker. Elemental Fury, Potions of Fortify Two Handed, Berseker Rage, Smithing and Enchanted pieces of Fortify Two Handed will make your Longhammer hurt so much your enemies won't have time to scream "PLEASE, GOD! NO!".

<That's the damage I could get by level 35. Dragon's didn't even had time to go back to the skies>

Two Handed: Meat gets smoother if you beat it up before eating. So you just beat them as hard as you can.

Alchemy:  Not just a brute, a gourmetzerker appreciates a good drink and good seasonings with his meal.

Smithing: Smithing is a natural talent for you. It's kinda like cooking. You get the item and then beat it.

Heavy Armor & Block: Some people will fail to realise they are food and fight back. Good luck for them trying to scratch you.

Alteration: Stoneflesh gives you a small boost in armor, and is a good way to spent all the Magicka you won't use for anything else. The Magic Resistance perk will help you cover your weakness against magic.

    Other Information

Race: Orc. "Only orcs can be gourmetzerkers, because all other races are the food" - Thog

Stone: The Warrior, then The Steed. After having the Conditioning perk you can switch to The Atronach, that will enable you to EAT SPELLS.

Stats Distribution: 0 Magicka | 4 Health | 1 Stamina. I don't use many heavy attacks, and the Ring of Namira already gives you a nice boost on Stamina, but I like sprinting around and carrying a lot of stuff to make money to get enchanted gear. "Thog doesn't like power attacks because Thog's attack are power attacks naturally" - Thog

Equipment: The Longhammer. Ring of Namira. Necklace of Peerless Sure Grip (can also have a ring to use when you really want to deal damage). The best enchanted Heavy Armor you manage to get with the enchantments you want (prorize Fortify Two Handed enchantments). With all the Smithing perks you have you should manage to get a nice armor rate with almost any piece of heavy armor.

Shouts and Powers: Elemental Fury, Berserker Rage, Blessing of Talos. "Someone once told Thog that Talos had the same name as the coins. Thog found it funny, so now Thog pray to Talos" - Thog.

Quests: The Taste of Death, The Companions Quesline, The Main Questline, The Dawnguard Quesline, Lost to the Ages (only because it's a good way to get dwarven ingots to level your smithing).

    Closing Notes

Thanks for all the guides and builds you guys gave me, I wanted to be a part of this awessome community so I made a build myself. Hope you like it. Thanks for reading it, stay awessome. Talos Bless you all.

This build is crazy... but in a good way (kind of like Trevor Deathhand meets The Cabbage Farmer). Love the roleplay for this--even if it does scare me a bit xD--and sprinkling the persona of Thog throughout keeps the reading light and fun. And of course, I'm always happy to see the Longhammer getting a bit of use.

Great build... all hail Thog ;D

It's hard not to fall in love with the Longhammer once you use it with Elemental Fury. Getting it early is harsh, but Thog did it like a man: He run around the place (speedrun style) crying. screaming adn begging me to make the pain go away while I used my stock of potions to have him survive all those Falmer.

Thanks! Most of time I would end up going out of my characters and jump around or mess up with the engine, the best part of Thog is that I could actually see the character doing those kind of things, that made the gameplay the most fun I ever had with Skyrim, specially when I ran into a bug of glitch.

Love the presentation. Barbaric but funny in so many ways! Have access to a long range attack and keep improving on the magic resistance. +1

Only thing that irked me was I wasn't sure if some of the typos were intentional (in character) or not, maybe give it a quick double check? Otherwise a surprisingly intriguing build, I haven't played many two handed builds but this one looks like it's worth having some fun with!
