I only actually carried one at a time. It made me really think about which encounters I would take and when. So for example, once I got the frost enchanted warhammer, I went to Solstheim and started doing quests for the folk in Raven Rock, started Unearthed, and made what progress I could in March of The Dead (which on second look, I think I actually forgot to mention in the quest list...). And whenever I upgraded, I would destroy the previous hammer in the sacramental chest.

I had forgotten what a joy it is to play a warhammer-wielding, light armour clad undead-smiter. The only thing I am am having trouble with is resisting the lure of the Rune Hammer.

I am loving the RP too. Only taking certain things, "contraband", from the places I go is awesome, although she is pretty poor. Looting the grave goods of long dead Nords is certainly something she would not do.

I think I disagree with your assertion that draugr can not be soul trapped for your stated reason. It could be that the AE of those souls has already flown, all that is left is the whisper of Energy, whether that be the remains of their own or a symptom of the symbiotic connection they share with Dragon Priests is ambiguous.

I think an argument can be made either way, though. Are their souls, both AE and Energy, bound to them still in a parody of eternal life? Or is the magic powering them simply a very old curse granting them just enough semblance of sentience to do their job? The fact they speak on the Dragon tongue lends a huge degree of weight to your view. It makes me wonder about the old cult's views on the afterlife and when that belief culturally shifted to that of Sovngarde.

Also, it raises questions about the nature of black souls. Who determines what a black soul is? In the past it seems that it was a societal thing. If giants, for example, became respected members of society would the cultural view of the people for these beings also confer upon them black soul status? That would be mythopoeia at work and fits with my view on Towers, gods and all that good stuff. Newer lore suggests that there may be no difference in the type of soul, only different methods of containing them. A complicated subject to be sure.

In terms of how this character might view those souls and the respect she has for the dead, such a view as you have explained makes perfect sense. So there is a suspension of disbelief going on and a topic for mind to think on. Both are wins!

I was contemplating going a bit further into conjuration to pursue the banish daedra spells. Did you ever use them, or was your focus more grounded in the Arkayn?

Regardless, I am loving it all so far. Living it.

And I haven´t liked this build. So fixed, thanks, Phil...

Great build, Leg. I wonder how it´s possible it went under my radar.

And yeah, I agree with Phil. Draugr are certainly bastards that should get their souls trapped - or released maybe?

I might well say it again, I had a LOT of fun playing this build :D

:D Awesome. Glad to hear you're enjoying it so much.

Honestly, I think the Rune Hammer was actually considered first! Truth be told, I've never even used the thing. I'm not even sure if it can be enchanted beyond it's rune enchantment. It could very well add another layer to her combat though. A plan B of sorts. Hell, it might make a decent weapon just planting runes at enemies' feet and escaping the resulting explosion.

I'm glad the lore around Sib is at least thought provoking! It's what I was aiming for in some respect. As for conjuration, I never used any spells beyond Soul Trap but I see no reason why she wouldn't use Banish Daedra. It would certainly makes some later fights go a little smoother.

I really like the roleplay aspect here.
Where did you get the headings from?

Thanks, I'm glad! The headings I made myself for the most part. The typeface is Civitype FG (I got mine from Dafont), and I pulled an ankh vector from google. I just added the glow and twisty bits on.

    Nice, thank you.

Great to see this again Legion, I've added the tags in but I got a bit stuck on which playstyle ones to add (this character fits about 15 of them :P) so you might want to change them behind me.
