So this is my first attempt at character building so I hope readers can cooperate with me.This character build is based on my main character is Skyrim but was tweaked a bit since I was running Skyrim Redone.Anyways here we go...

"These skillful masters-at-arms use the ancient Akaviri martial tradition of battle-spirit, and wield fearsome magic that pounds, shatters and physically alters the world around them."― Official description

I never played Elder Scrolls Online but I was interested with the Dragonknight due to the Akaviri lore.Since my main character is a crusader/paladin/templar,I decided to combine the Dragonknight class with it particularly the Draconic Power skill line which focuses on survivability.

In 2E 582 during the Interregnum, there was a class of warriors known as Dragonknights, they were similarly based on the martial traditions of the dispersed Akaviri Dragonguard. These warriors made use of unique magical abilities said to be based on the powers of dragons. However by the end of the 2nd Era,the Dragonknights seemingly disappeared from the face of Tamriel until now.....

Race: Imperial due to their superior leadership and 25 Restoration at start.Other races can be accepted as long as the gods they worship are good.Dunmers can be trivial due to their worship Mephala and Boethiah.

Stone: Warrior/Mage for leveling then Lord for extra magic protection

Stats: 1/2/1  until health is 400.After that go for 2/1/1

Shouts: Become Ethereal,Dragon Aspect,Fire Breath and Slow Time

Essential Quests: Main Quest,Dawnguard,Dragonborn,Daedric Quests that are given the option to fail (Ring of Namira,Waking Nightmare etc.) or given by "good" Daedras.College of Winterhold,The Companions,Forbidden Legend and Destroy the Dark Brotherhood.

The Templar Order has 4 ranks, each requires certain assignments to be completed. The 4th rank is optional and only those who mastered their draconic powers and possess the ability to forge dragon armor may be given the rank.

    Equipment:

    Skills:

One Handed: The mace will be our primary source of damage. Thanks to the Bone Breaker skill,we can ignore 60% of enemy armor making boss battles againsts Bandit Chiefs and Draugr Deathlords much more easier.Just learn to get use with the slow swing.

Heavy Armor: "A true warrior never leaves without his armor",the same thing goes with the Templar. While being a large slow moving warrior can be troublesome, once you get Well Fitted and Tower of Strength, you'll become a large slow moving unstoppable warrior as long as you don't get overwhelmed.

Block: While heavy armor would stop melee blows, what about those pesky archers? (who seem to hit you even if your running like Usain Bolt) Well thats where the Block comes in,once you get Deflect Arrows you'll see that arrows pose no threat to you as they bounce off from your shield.

Restoration: Your source of healing. While potions can heal you via menu pause in the heat of battle, healing spells can restore both health and stamina with Respite which works well with heavy armor since your losing a lot of stamina everytime you sprint.

Destruction: Destruction is used when offensive Restoration spells are not viable.Firebolt and Fireball are used to replace Sun Fire and Vampire's Bane when facing the living.Augmented and Intense Flames are used for extra "firepower". (See what I did there?)

Smithing: This skill is your advancement skill and your source of income.I know leveling up Smithing is kinda boring so to speed up your leveling, try crafting a lot of arrows and sell them then go to a Trainer and level up your Smithing.Other than that, you can go Dwemer Diving (that's a word for me) ,make dwarven bows out of the ingots then enchant them with paralyze and sell them again making money and losing them to the Trainer.

Enchanting: Enchanting is used to turn armored warriors into armored battlemages.Enchant your cuirass with magicka regen to get a constant flow of magicka during battle and resist shock, fire or frost on your boots for extra protection.

The alchemists in the Monastery have been supplying our warriors with potions and poisons that were brought to Tamriel by their Akaviri predecessors. Some of the ingredients used were relatively easy to find.

Dragon's Bane [Imp Stool + Slaugtherfish Eggs + River Betty]

A powerful and potent poison. The Dragonguard used these poisons to bring down even the largest foes.

Anti-Mage's Boon [Blue Butterfly Wings + Butterfly Wings + Hanging Moss]

Akaviri shamans fear this dreaded poison as it eats away their magicka and stopping it from regenerating.

Elixir of The Warrior [Scaly Pholiota + Bee + Bear Claws]

A potion that restores and regenerates stamina at a fast pace.It is said the Tang Mo used this potion before defending their nation from the Kamal.

Elixir of The Mage [Dwarven Oil + White Cap + Garlic]

A potion that restores and regenerates magicka at a fast pace.It was thought to be one of the factors that caused the failed invasion of Akavir.

Dragon Heart [Bone Meal + Snowberries + Frost Mirriam]

A potion that increases the drinkers resistance to fire and frost.

Fiery Essence [Ash Creep Cluster + Snowberries + Beehive Husk]

A potion that increase the strength of your fire spells while resisting it for a short period of time.Best used with Secret of Arcana.

    Initiate

You've been chosen to be inducted into the Order. But to prove yourself worthy, you must venture into Skyrim cleansing it from Daedra and Undead. We'll start our journey to Dawnstar helping a priest of Mara destroy a daedric artifact. It's advisable to bring a shield with you (I learned that the hard way since all the Orcs were "two-handed").Be sure to take Erandur with you on your next journey (If your playing PC and have Immersive Weapons,be sure to grab the Mace of Aevar Stone-Singer which has ebony mace damage rating).

Next head to Markath and clear the Hall of The Dead from a dark presence. We can also help Brother Tyrannus clear out a house. For roleplay, this is one of the few daedric quests that we can activate since we were helping a Vigilant and was forced to kill him to get out.To make things easier on your journey, the priests of the Order grant you two draconic abilities.

The maximum level for the Initiate is level 15.So during our playthrough,we should invest those 14 perks on Heavy Armor,Block and One Handed. You can get 1 skill in Heavy Armor,Block and One Handed by helping Brunwulf-Free Winter and Amren respectively.Amren can also provide training in One Handed. At level 15,you probably getArmsman 3/5,Bone Breaker 2/3,Fighting Stance,Juggernaut 2/5,Shield Wall 2/5 andPower Bash. The other 3 perk points will go to Restoration,Destruction and Smithing each.

    Armor Piercer

As your mace ignores the enemies armor, the poison you applied on its spikes seeps through the cracks and into their bodies.

    [Mace + Bone Breaker + Dragon's Bane]

    Hardened Skin

Your skin becomes as hard as a dragon scales temporarily increasing you armor rating while engulfing yourself in fire, burning those around.

[Oakflesh* + Fire Cloak + Dragon Heart]

*You don't really need the Oakflesh spell.Just a scroll would do.

Once you've completed your assignments,The Order will recognize you as one of their own. You'll be given a choice to choose between two ranks, each will lead you a different path but the same goal.

    Templar

Following the path of the Templar, we'll head to Soltheim and talk to Glover Mallory to trade our old armor for a set of Bonemold armor with matching shield, a dwarven mace and an adept hood. While at Soltheim,be sure to replace Erandur with Teldryn Sero. The Templar is well-protected from physical and magical damage thanks to his stronger and lighter Bonemold armor. The boots were enchanted with resist magic while the gauntlets were enchanted with fortify one-handed.The priests have taught us a few restoration spells to be used against the undead and mages such as Sun Fire,Lesser Ward and Turn Undead. We'll also be given another draconic power.

As we venture across Skyrim once again,we'll meet The Companions (again if you went to Whiterun to get training from Amren) and join their ranks. For roleplay, you'll be given the choice to stop The Companions questline after "Proving Honor" or accept Skjor's gift only to cure Vilkas,Farkas and yourself after "Glory of The Dead".Meanwhile,we'll also head to Fort Dawnguard to join the Dawnguard to fight the emerging vampire threat after being told by Durak or attacked by vampires in Whiterun (if the latter happened may Arkay save your merchants). After killing Harkon and curing Serana,we'll head back to the Monastery to report your success to the Grand Master.(Again for roleplay)

For gameplay during the Dawnguard questline, try to use your draconic powers especially during the battle with Vrythur and Harkon. It makes the battle much more easier since you'll get surrounded by frozen falmers/undead.As for leveling, the max level for Templar would be level 40.At level 25,you'll probably have acquired the perks on One-Handed,Heavy Armor and Block so focus the other perks on Restoration until you get Respite and Destruction until you get Intense Flames. The rest goes to Smithing and/or Enchanting.

    Circle of Light

You'll cast a circle around you warding off the undead while healing your allies.

[Become Ethereal + Bane of the Undead + Guardian Circle + Grand Healing]

    Chronicler

If you choose the path of the Chronicler, we'll receive a set of adept robes with hood, steel plate gauntlets and boots and an elven mace. We'll be sent to the College of Winterhold after the Grand Master heard words about an expert on the Elder Scrolls,a rare and elusive source of knowledge. Before beginning our travel, the priests gave us another draconic power.

At the College,we'll find a book about Arch-Mage Gauldur and his amulet while learning from the librarian that the expert,Septimus Signus has headed north and never heard of again. Before heading north,we'll partake in the excavation of Saarthal eventually uncovering a strange orb but not before battling Jyrik Gauldurson,Eldest Son of Lord Gauldur.Like the Templar, you can stop the College questline after "Under Saarthal" or continue on.After the ordeal,we'll head north to find Septimus  while carrying one of three fragments of the Gauldur Amulet.Once we find Septimus and acquire the Elder Scroll,we'll head to find the other two fragments and reforge the Gauldur Amulet.(If you unlocked the second part of "Discrening the Transmundane, you can avoid it or do it so you can obtain the Oghma Infinium).

Back at the College, one of the students will tell us about a powerful and brilliant Telvanni Wizard living in Soltheim searching for the Black Books, books said to be from Apocrypha, realm of Hermaeus Mora and contains lost and forbidden knowledge. As we arrived in Soltheim,we find out that a rogue dragon priest is planning to return to Tamriel.Once we stopped Miraak, the only thing left is to reopen the ebony mine, retrieve the remaining Black Books and (reluctantly) help Neloth in Tel Mithryn.

Gameplay-wise,the Chronicler is a difficult but fun rank to play with.Since we spent the first 15 levels playing as a heavy armored crusader, switching to a mage can be challenging but you'll be lighter, faster and still hit as hard as the Templar with your spells.Like the Templar, the max level would be level 40.During the battle against Miraak, use Chrono Blast and Hardened Skin frequently.Sahtoraar can provide aerial support until the last stage (provided he survives until the last stage).A neat trick you can try is ready your Slow Time shout then spam it once your done healing, this will make you use Chrono Blast even once your back to full health. For roleplay, try (never tried it and don't know if it's possible) beating Miraak without using Dragon Aspect.

    (Improved)* Chrono Blast

Time is slowed down allowing you to bombard the enemies with spells.

[Slow Time + Fireball + Fiery Essence + Secret of Arcana (Improved)]

In both paths,we'll do the main quest until "Elder Knowledge".For the Civil War questline, you can choose between Stormcloaks or Imperials but you will show mercy to the wounded or those who surrender. If your on the Imperial side, you'll restrain yourself from killing Thalmor Justiciars as long as your in Skyrim.(So you can do "A New Source of Stalhrim" without any problem since Soltheim is technically not part of Skyrim").Should you choose to do "Missing In Action" try the diplomatic approach if your with the Empire.Regarding the "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood",depending if you made your character's backstory as an orphan in Honorhall Orphanage, killing Grelod is acceptable maybe.Other than that,I wouldn't recommend killing her...unless she died of accident..*cough* accidental shouting * cough*

    Grand Marshal

As we entered the Monastery with tales of our success, the Grand Master has offered us the rank of Grand Marshal but in order to receive that rank we must complete 3 difficult tasks.First,we must forge an armor made from dragonbones.Second,we must defeat a defiler of the Daedra and a rogue shepherd of plagues. Finally,we must possess the spirit of a dragon. While we've completed the last task since we are Dragonborn,we head out once again to complete our last 2 tasks but before that, the Grand Master gives us our Battle-Spirit.

While searching for dragons in The Reach,we stumbled upon a Shrine of Peryite.Peryite, the Daedric Prince of Pestilence must have a connection to your second task.Speak to Peryite,we're tasked by him to eliminate Orchendor,a shepherd who strayed from his path.Completing "The Only Cure" is difficult for both Templar and Chronicler.First,we've to face the Afflicted who spew acid at us (resist poison can help though not proven). Then the final room before Orchendor,we got dwemer automatons including a centurion.A Chronicler can sneak their way through but a Templar may have to muscle their way in but that's why we got our draconic powers. The fight with Orchendor takes some tactics.First of all,he resists fire, frost and shock.Secondly,he teleports when he gets cornered and prefers to stay outside melee range. The only range weapon we have are fire spells so yeah not gonna work out.One thing you could do is use Dragon's Bane poison on your mace, then use Slow Time and hit him.It may take 3-10 poison depending if you invested in Alchemy or not.If you follow this method, slowly but surely you'll kill him and you'll be rewarded with Spellbreaker,a boon for Templars.

After that,we'll go dungeon diving looking for Meridia's Beacon.Be on a lookout for dragons so you can get dragon bones to make dragonplate armor.Once we found Meridia's Beacon, head to Mount Kilkreath and defeat Malkoran.Like Orchendor,Malkoran can be difficult to fight. He tends to dual cast adept destruction spells while we're distracted by his shades.Try "funneling" his minions into the door and kill them while avoiding Malkoran's Ice Storm (That thing can 2-hit you to death).Make use of Circle of Light if you're a Templar.Once his minions are down take out Malkoran.Be sure to apply poison on your mace and use Spellbreaker if you have it.For Chronicler, use Improved Chrono Blast and barrage Malkoran with Fireball.Once Malkoran's Shade spawns, proceed to destroy it too and claim Dawnbreaker.

Now all that's left is too forge your dragonplate armor,if your smithing skill is low,use the enchanted dwarven bow farm to increase it.Once you have your Dragonplate armor, head to the Monastery and the Grand Master will appoint you as Grand Marshall along with your final draconic power.

Overall, the Grand Marshall rank was kinda like a requirement quest.I saved Malkoran and Orchendor for this part since they're one of the toughest enemies in Skyrim so it's advised to be level 40+ before facing them. For leveling, you should invest in the rest of the perks shown in the spread. After that, focus on Alchemy to make better potions and poisons and also begin the Alchemy>Enchanting>Smithing cycle.Concerning the "defiler of the Daedra" part, some people may think "The House of Horrors" could fit the part since Logrolf The Willful defiled Molag Bal's altar.I honestly think it's not fitting with the Templar theme since you're torturing Logrolf before executing him.

    Battle-Spirit

After years of training, you're able to summon your battle-spirit.Imbue your soul with the spirit of a dragon to enhance your powers and resistance.

    [Dragon Aspect + Dragon Heart]

    Exhale

Inhale the essence of life around you and become invulnerable. As you exhale, you'll unleash a devastating firestorm, incinerating does around you.

[Become Ethereal + Fire Storm + Fiery Essence]

May Stendarr have mercy on your soul for the Vi...wait,I forgot I'm not a Vigilant anymore.

Well that wraps up my Dragon Templar build.Sorry if the gameplay section is a bit too long,I tried to "vanilla-lise" my experience in SkyRe.The ranks were inspired by Manik's Green Warden while the perk spread was done by Lee Fiskilis. In short, the Dragon Templar is like a 2 in 1 build. It can be a battlemage/crusader or it can a mage.

I can see the images now.

Man, this build has already come a long way from when I saw it yesterday in the Workshop, congratulations on an excellent first build, that looks positively great.  As I said when it was in the Workshop I really love the ranks, and the way you presented them.

Don't forget to change the title of your Workshop item to Delete, and post a comment in the Workshop Success Corner so I remember to delete it and then later on, possibly give it a feature.

This is the kind of build that should be in the HoF. Its very well balanced to defend itself in any situation against any foe. It can almost be considered a jack of all trades which is personally my favorite kind of build. Excellent detail, presentation. Love the pictures and detail put into every section! This build is surely Popin'

Its also nice to see an increase in PC builds out there as well. Wonderus job. Here is to making more. cheers!
