You say the Sentinel is 'deprived of Ancient Knowledge'.

Why did you get rid of that power?

It was patched by bethesda, so he had to adapt and revamp. See comment above yours

    Hey, Mason.

I haven't tried this build out yet, but I'm going to tonight. I just have a single question due to my slowness. I can't wrap my head around the "Becoming the Sentinel..." section. I fail to understand how the potions contribute. Can you explain the chart to me?

Otherwise, seems like a great build.

It could. If you have done the necessary Dawnguard quests to unlock the Dwarven Crossbow. And you could use the Fire bolts with it, but you could actually buy an enchanted variant of the Crossbow.

Okay, I've done research on these potions, and remembered the Fortify Restoration exploit. I remembered how it can improve buffs tampering with the potion. Sorry if I sounded like an idiot, because now I do remember asking you a question about it in your Obsidian Sentinel build.

Also, I did start the play-through of this build, and it is phenomenal. I believe that this character requires a difficulty of Legendary to actually enjoy it. Even on Master, I believe it is easy to breeze through. I also am doing my first d=d play-through with this character, so it adds a little more suspense. All in all, this build is just amazing. I can't stop playing it. You should be proud of yourself, Mason. You really should.

A youtube video of the class would be very helpful.

Thanks mate! Yeah, in terms of gameplay this build is pretty cool, he's got alot of stuff to do/items to collect! I actually found obtaining the best loadout at stores a nice change of pace from the usual enchanting route and it's all picked up easily early on if you have the gold...

    Hope you enjoy the character!

Yeah, David Shields produced a great piece of work for the Obsidian Sentinel, maybe he'll get around to taking this guy for a spin!

The Antronach Stone doesn't absorb 50% of spell damage it's actualy a 50% chance to absorb the spell completly. Without magic resistance a legendary dragon can still one shot you.
