Is the Dwarven crossbow of the blaze found at any smith?

I think it's just a Dwarven Crossbow with Fire Bolts.

Love the mark 2. Alteration is my favourite magic school so I might grab it for magic resist only. I might play this. Might....

Just realized I never replied to this... Just saw your reply. Whoops. :D it is a great shield, no doubt. I was thinking purely mages, and didnt even think of dragons. I found out the hard way that the absorption doesn't stop the breath when one unloaded on me and took me out in one shot before I could heal. :( anyways... The shield is a perfect counter for dragons (one reason I've gotten it before for another build). Thanks for clearing that up mate! I'll definitely grab it in my guy soon. Yeah it still works great in vanilla Skyrim, I started this build (again) recently until I got distracted by... Oh look, it's the sorcerer, I wanna play that build (def one of my fav builds on the site)! :D Cheers and hope to see you around still mason!

Great, now I have to try this overhauled version. Curse you Mason! +1. Also, with the addition of a crossbow, do you take any archery perks, or is this like the silver sword on your sorcerer and nemesis builds, where the enchantment is where his damage comes from? And the best part of this build... No alteration! As good as that school is, leveling it was a pain for me.

Talking about Nuchaund-Zel(sp?),I went through as a lv.2 warrior(before I discovered the blog)and I leveled up 5 or 6 times by the time I got out.Fighting off all of those Falmer was hectic.

Hey Mason, great build very similar to something I've come up with but with more functionality early on. I would like to add to that by saying that at level 14 you can accept a quest to give you in my opinion a much needed boost to specifically dwarven armor (25%) as well as smithing through the "unfathomable depths" quest rewarding the constant "Ancient Knowledge" buff this would make your build even more effective in the early stages of the game and until the armor and smithing cap is reached. Also i would like to add that Spellbreaker is affected by the perk in the  restoration tree "ward absorb" with it only being a 1 point reach it would be a very viable choice either to even out the stunted magic  from the atronach stone or as a back up for when "Dragonskin" is on cool down in a heavy spell damage dungeon or higher difficulty dragons/dragon priest encounters that out last the 1 minute buff when you need to continue healing. With these changes and maybe a few notable quest reward passives you will have earned my like and be very close to the full circle effect you seem to be striving for with this build.

"Ok, I'm going to give my own discussion a bump here because I have to vent some pure fucking rage...

In their infinite wisdom, Bethesda have once again shafted another one of my builds with their little 'fixes'...

I've been doing a replay of this character for a little nostalgia and I get to one of the key parts of the build; the Ancient Knowledge perk that makes up this characters backstory and source of infinite glory and power to find that the perk now works on every armor set in the game EXCEPT dwarven!!

What the hell are they playing at?? Don't they re-test things after they apply a 'fix' to check if the 'fix' works??

    I'm soooooo pissed off!! "
