Thats what has made this my favorite build, its absolute stunning simplicity.  The natural gameplay of clearing out dwarven ruins is enough to get you to level 17 in a heart beat. Sell some smithed bows and you have all your armor.  Nothing feels out of place.  I think I am level 27 now and have yet to feel like I have to grind at all.

That's the thing I love about this sentinel, there isn't much grinding involved at all, and you can most likely achieve 100% spell absorption without the alteration perk or the grinding of alchemy if you really wanted to.

I'm loving the revamp Mason! Except for all the DLC stuff that is (don't have them and prob won't buy them since I'm broke). Lol anyways. Bt I was wondering about why you decided to choose spell breaker. Was that just used primarily before getting the stone into higher absorption levels? It kinda seems like a waste and unnecessary to me...

    Thanks mate!

Spellbreaker has always been part of the build, it has great armor rating and therefore has higher bash damage than nearly all the other shields in the game (it was top 3 last time I looked)...

Characters with even 90% spell absorption will still take significant damage from dragon breath, I'm not sure why this is. I've had a character with 99% spell absorption blasted by a legendary dragon and lose a ton of health...

Spellbreaker answers these problems, it will protect you from dragon breath as you work through the game upto your max spell absorption. This build is still perfectly compatible with standard Skyrim so don't worry about the dlc stuff...

Finally some luck. After that hour and a half slugfest for the armor, I fought Orchendor for Spellbreaker and he had a ring of destruction on him! Feels good man.

Do I need Spellbreaker, Aetherial Shield and Dwarven Shield of Eminent Blocking? Seems quiet a lot of shields when one or two would suffice.

    Need no...

Considering the number of random questions I usually get though...

"What shield did you use before you picked up Spellbreaker?" etc... I thought it was important to list the base set up for those who don't have dlc.

I actually carried all three shields though, shields of blocking are very good for building block exp because you're absorbing tons more damage than usual...

Okay thanks. I think I might pass on the Shield of Blocking for now, just take Spellbreaker/Aetherial Shield.
