Ok, just correcting your math when you said ignite does around over 100 damage.

What merchant did you go to to buy the armour and weapons?

Alvor in Riverwood worked well for me...

The important items are the Bracers of Eminent Wielding and the Boots of Extreme Stamina.

I'm wearing Dwarven Armor of Health +50 on this playthrough and I've switched to a 1/3/1 stat placement, so far it's a slightly better package...

I had a huge surplus of filled soul gems on my 1st playthrough (to the point they were actually clogging my inventory), items don't burn charges fast enough.

Dwarven Boots of Extreme Stamina only add 50, not 60.

Yep, already noticed that. Labled incorrectly on the uesp...

Cool, I just thought I'd say because I just bought them, and wondered if I got the wrong thing. Just the shield left now, after an hour of shopping, skyrim style! I didn't realise killing the merchant restocked their gold, so now I can't stop killing them and reloading to offload hundreds of Dwarven Bows.

And did you buy the ring and necklace from Radiant Raiment?

I actually found all my jewellery as I went along but you will definitely pick up what you want at RR!

Yeah, you don't even have to kill the merchant, a quick swipe with your sword and then load is enough...

I'm glad you've had success getting the items Samjt, it's the only part of the playthrough that involves a bit of work but it's definitely worth it! Your talking about an hour of shopping to pick up a set of gear that's going to last the entire playthrough...

In fact, i'm glad you're giving the character a go full stop! That's the point of writing builds after all...

    Thanks mate!

How could I not have a go at it man? This and the Obsidian are brilliant, had so much fun with the latter, just walking through Mage dungeons and letting them hit me, feeling like a complete badass in Ebony Armour. That's the other thing I love about the Sentinels, little crafting in them. I skipped most of the Alchemy perks in the Obsidian, cos I stacked the Restoration potions lots.
