The Hunter closely stalked His prey, toying with her. Letting her think she was rid of him for a moment, then drawing so close she could smell him the next. The joy of this chase had not been felt for thousands of years, and the reward would be so sweet. He finally decided it had gone on long enough and drew Himself close to her. Her dress had been torn on multiple thorns and bristles, her legs scratched and bloodied from the harsh plant-life of Northern Valenwood. She screamed and He roared, the hunt was complete. He had captured His beauty, it was now time for His reward.

Seventeen years later, your mother told you this story and you decided to join your father, Hircine, in Skyrim. You heard rumors that the Companions of Jorrvaskr were intimately involved with Hircine and that they were looking for new members. You travelled from Valenwood through Cyrodiil and after almost two years, you made it to Skyrim, but you witnessed a skirmish between Stormcloaks and Imperials and as you were making your way around them you were captured.

    The Build

Race: Wood elf. Great archery boost and control of animals, can't really beat that for a Hircine-related build.

Standing Stone: I went with the Steed stone. Faster movement, and extra carry weight. It's really useful.

Stat Distribution: 0/1/2   Stamina is important for long range sprinting, zooming in and fend attacks with your bow if opponents get too close. Magicka won't be used much, if at all, so forget about that. Health is obviously important to make up for low armor.

Major Skills: Archery, Light Armor, Sneak.

Minor Skills: Smithing, One-handed, Alchemy, Enchanting.

Shouts: Dragon Aspect, Slow Time, Elemental Fury.

Powers: Beast Form, Ring of Hircine, Totem of Brotherhood, Summon Spectral Assassin.

    Equipment

Forsworn Headdress (purely for looks, enchanted with fortify archery)

Savior's Hide (any item of Hircine is yours, use the glitch to get the ring, too)

    Stormcloak Officer's Gauntlets (fortify archery)

    Stormcloak Officer's Boots (fortify one-handed)

    Necklace (fortify archery)

Amulet of Talos (with 100% stacking glitch)

    Ring of Hircine

There are many bow choices, icluding: Bow of the Hunt, Glass Bow of the Stag Prince and Zephyr. I used all these at different points in my playthrough.

Blade of Woe and Bloodthorn for Drain Health.

    Skills & Perks

Smithing: My reasons for upgrading smithing are pretty simple. Ebony and Arcane are needed to make your Savior's Hide legendary, and the higher level will also help out to make your other equipment even better.

Alchemy: This is for a couple of reasons. You're gonna have to make powerful smithing potions to make your gear Legendary with only a level 70 smithing level and invisibility potions for sneaking. Poisons are useful and fit well with the build, but I didn't spend much tome with them.

Archery: No explanation necessary, really, but I'll give you one anyway. Archery gets you all the damage you'll need from long range, and it's really useful if you're facing large and powerful enemies.

Light Armor: Your only defense besides Dragon Aspect, this is an important skill, so waste no time purchasing perks for it.

One-Handed: You can never shoot 'em all. One-handed is a last resort if your enemies get too close.

Sneak: Every hunter has to know how to quietly stalk his prey, sneak enables you to do so. To use it to its full potential with this build, get the Deadly Aim perk ASAP.

    Special Moves

Hircine's Speed- Elemental fury, Slow Time, multiple one handed power attacks.

The Hunter's Might- Dragon aspect, Beast Form.

    Quests

Ill Met by Moonlight- Hircine's quest must be done early on to make the connection with your father.

Dragonborn- To get Dragon Aspect and Bend Will shouts.

Companions- Hunt with the mighty servants of Hircine, marry Aela ASAP.

Main Quest- You are the immortal son of Hircine and Dragonborn, you are now the hunter of the mightiest prey... Alduin himself.

Dark Brotherhood- The hunt for animals and dragons is no longer satisfying enough. You now hunt for humans. Always perform your contracts perfectly, leave no trace of your guild's involvement, but leave the black hand letter on the Emporer's body when you kill him. To get this letter, do not sleep after killing Grelod the Kind until you've received it.

Civil War- Join the Imperials and continue until the Battle of Whiterun where you can get the Stormcloak Officer armor.

    Optional Quests

Dawnguard- Killing the sworn enemies of werewolves is a pretty role-friendly option for this character.

Thieves Guild- You like sneaking around and shooting things... Why not make money while doing it?

Blades- They want you to do what you do best... Hunt dragons.

    Roleplay Suggestions

Hunt whatever happens to piss you off. Whether it's guards, dragons, vampires, mammoths, just kill anything. When you're creating a character, make him young but wild-looking. No facial hair, plenty of scars, crazy hair and war-paint. There's a sacred-ness to this hunt, so don't walk up and stab things. Perform your kills with speed and proficiency from long range, or backstab without being detected. If you are found, fight them off while dual wielding daggers.

This concludes this build! Please leave suggestions and I plan on making more of these demi-daedra builds. Please let me know if any of this isn't lore-consistent so I can change it up. None of these character pictures are mine, so don't sue me. The outline structure of this build is based on Curse Never Dying's Samurai Build. Thank you. The Perk Spread image was done by Alice, check out her artwork and build if you haven't already.

The presentation is good overall and the concept of the build is fairly solid. Here are some things you can improve on however. 1. Narrow your choices. Tell people what you chose, rather than giving them multiple choices. They'll make the changes they want it anyway when they play this. 2. Avoid linking people to the perk calculator to display your perks. The calculator goes down once in a while, and with it your perk spread. We over at the art group can make you a perkspread image which will also go a long way to improving presentations. 3. Be a little more specific with your Roleplay suggestions. We need something deeper than hunting whatever we like. Most of your Roleplay actually covers more basic gameplay. We want to know your chRacters motives and reasonings behind his actions. Ask the Roleplay group for assistance on this. Roleplay can be somewhat tough to nail In a character build.

Just a head's up, one of the CB group rules is no stuff in parentheses in the title. I've adjusted it accordingly.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll work on a perk spread image and add to the roleplay a bit.

    No worries

I have more suggestions: 4. Try to focus special attention on polishing this before you move into another build. Gain more experience with character building before you try to tackle a build series because those are very hard to do well. 5. We need to come up with a more appealing name for this build. Let's see what we can brainstorm.

How did you get elemental fury to work with Zephyr in Hircine'S Archer special move? I can't get it to work with bows, is it some kind of clitch or something wrong on my end?

No, Elemental Fury has no effect on bows (there might be a mod or something, but IDK about that). As it is written now, that special move won't work.

I really like the concept of this and i think you've done a great job here! :)
