We are pretty different here. At first I was like, "Barbas is a perfect match for this build, but... freaking Barbas!" But as I started to play  the build, he really started to grow on me... for this character at least. Here are the main non-RP reasons why I liked him for this build:

    • He cannot be killed, harmed, or take a knee--my runes have no effect on him
    • He's too aggro ;D--there is almost no stealth for this build, so Barbas isn't really ruining much when he gets all Lerooooy JEEEEENKINS! When Barbas shoots past you to take on an enemy, that enemy's AI is fixed on Barbas... which is a good thing; you can sling your runes and then start hacking away with your sword, and they only have eyes for Barbas

The other stuff grew on me, but mostly because how it fit into the roleplay... I just got kind of got into it. Oddly enough, when I quit this build to take on the next event build, it was weird stopping and not getting jostled and shoved around. That build, though, is super-sneaky, so I would most certainly have the dog put to sleep! ("As you wish, Clavicus!" xD)

I've never read this character's lore, but this is a fun build in it's own right! I love how the Lanthorn acts as a visual cue to being buffed up (casting candlelight and flesh before battle), and love the broad range of skills and tools. It seems he always a unique way to deal with whatever Skyrim throws at you.

Your write up is immersive as well, I could easily get into the role of this character and had no problem making choices based on the flavor and lore you wrote.

I'm on PC and Aspect of Terror no longer buffs fire damage. How would you recommend spending those three Illusion perks?

    Thanks, Mello!

I'm on PC as well... I didn't know that. Is this for the Unofficial Patch (which I don't have), or is it something that's come up on the Official Patch that I just didn't know about?

If I were to reallocate those Illusion perks, I'd probably throw them into Master Restoration, Alteration, and Destruction to bam those schools up a bam, and make up for weaker fire spells ;D

I believe its for the Unofficial patch yes, so you're fine. I'll have to consider either Master spells or maybe shifting those perks to the right side of the constellation to let fury affect greater enemies.
