It just takes a bit of time to get the hang of it. Experiment a bit. See if joystick spamming works for you, or if controlled movements work, etc. It kinda swung in roundabouts for me - whether I went crazy button mashing to doing it at specific times.

The entire time I read this build in my head I kept hearing one name....Akuma. I have been toying with a way to make Akuma in Skyrim and you have done it. Vampire Lord form is basically his Oni form. I was going to use things like Cyclone shout as a dragon punch up close for RP sake for instance, so I find you special moves just perfect. You get a like pure and simple. I love this idea!

I've run into this before when punching my way through Helgen on Novice to set up 'Alternate Start Mod for Console Peasants' playthroughs. Never could figure out how to do it consistently, but I'm glad you figured it out for everyone! :D

Akuma is a playable character and major antagonist in the Street Fighter series. Hes really strong and said to be Ryu's Father. 

Mannimarco is correct. Akuma is a warrior who fights bare handed, but unlike Ryu and Ken, he went full tilt down the path of power. His martial arts prowess is amplified by his own demonic nature and raw power. He does not shy away from gaining power in any form and taps into his own dark energies, rage, and hate to fuel is combat. His Oni form is basically a demonic version of himself and represents his ultimate incarnation.
