I thought the blades shield version of this didn't allow you to do anything with your shield arm? Though I may be mistaken. Regardless, awesome build and a great addition to the unarmed collection here on the blog! +1

I think I tested the blades shield and it worked, but I don't remember 100%.

When you promise, you deliver! Awesome build, Zach! I love having more options for unarmed combat!

Very nice Zach, almost tempted to try this unarmed idea. I have come across the Blades Shield glitch on a vampire but never thought to use it such a creative way.

You never disappoint! And wow, that has to be one of the best exploits I've ever seen for a build.

Try refreshing the page, it usually helps (or close & reopen browser). EDIT: Nvm looks like you've got it :) . Also thank you for the kind words.

Slapping enemies staggers them  Awesome! Also love your equipment aesthetic. Simple, badass, functional and fits with bonuses from the Gloves of the Pugilist. Diadem of the Savant counts as Light Armor and works for some bonuses from Light Armor tree, notably Windwalker and Deft Movement (which can be a nice addition, I'd take that as well). Great job, amazing how people keep finding new gameplay tricks and styles after all these years and builds!

Zach have I ever said you're one of the smartest guys I know. You've seen the glory of the Orc Vampire and even better you've improved it. Now I need to play another one. Anyway enough about it being an Orcish Vampire, the build itself is excellent as always, good presentation, interesting mechanics and of course it's an Orc. +2 to you Zach and I'll be trying this one out ASAP.

I was doing something similar with my current character, just because it feels satisfying to punch a dragon in the face and have it recoil from the force of the blow.
