I was just rambling on... lyrics and all.

I think I want to give this build a try!

I'm getting my modded install just right first, though.

Do it up Wiz! Fyi I think the unofficial patch changes the Aspect of Terror/Fire Damage combo. Let me know how it goes.

Yeah, it does change it, along with the MFD shout (it damages the armor, but not in a per second basis), but there are other mods that revert that.

USKP revert mods are the bestest things.

I just hate that we have to revert non-exploits like free follower training.

Edit: And giving Vorstag his heavy armor skill back, among other follower 'fixes'...

Yeah, some of team's decisions are questionable. But then again, if you can mod already, it isn't all that much of an issue. Specially because we have UFO and AFT to deal with followers.

Yes, AFT is so great.  I'll probably use it in my playthrough.  Only gonna keep Vorstag around though, he's the best husbando for Arche... or just in general, hehe.

    I suck at this build.

I'm still level 1 and my familiar is just dying constantly.  Should I be cheesing to Quick Reflexes instead of actually relying on my stamina pool and inability to tank enemy power attacks for now?

Lol! What difficulty do you play on? Pick up a follower until you can grab the first word of MFD. Quick Reflexes was one of my first perks. I usually get it by grabbing a shield and training with a Draugr in Bleak Falls Barrow using healing in the off hand. Once you have that perk you can kite a lot easier. Your Familiar won't be useful until you're able to keep the enemy's attention on you not him. Quick Reflexes helps with that. Next thing I'd suggest is perking Augmented Flames 1/2 then Aspect of Terror. This combo will literally get you through the rest of the game. The first ten levels are rough for this guy so don't feel like you're doing something wrong. A follower can really help in the early levels. Pick up the Muffle spell and cast it in towns and other places where you aren't likely to run into a battle. Aspect of Terror is a long way off so it's best to start the grind early. Keep me updated! I wanna see you become the sorcerer you ought to be :)

Have you thought about using the infinite concentration casting trick with the Atronach stone? It would allow you to pump almost all levels into health to increase survivability.
