Which is strange because I rarely use Imperials but I think Mr. Arctus changed my mind ;)

Imperials are quite fun to Roleplay.

Okay... wow! The lore on this is amazing... so much so that even when I was reading build info all I could think about was lore. I had to read it again just to see how to play it (and at 3500 words that's a testament to just how awesome this build is... I was more than willing to do it).

You caught me with the Dragonbone cuirass! I started the involuntary eyeroll, then read what you had to say about it, and I agree. One of the few (I can count them on one hand) builds where it fits... and it fits extremely well.

Now for the last of my gushing: Elemental Attrition = Awesome! At the beginning I was wondering what all those Fire Resistance enchants were all about. Quick question; Flame atronachs use their firebolt a lot. How did you keep her put so that you can make your crispy victim sandwich... I'm dying to try this!

Bravo bravo my friend!!! This build is really awesome and i like it a lot! Well done! I avoid to read the lore often, but this time it's been a different thing. A +1 isn't enough. Good luck!!!

Yes!! I'm so glad someone asked that because I couldn't fit it in. When you cast the Flame Atronach, do it right next to your opponent. Her Flame cloak should start affecting the enemy and if your's is dual casted it probably will to. Next, stagger both your Atronach and opponent with Fire Breath! She won't take damage but will remain in range with her cloak. Stay near her and bash with the mace when she comes to. This might create a small opening for your opponent but you can quickly back off for another Fire Breath and hitting both of them again. Let's count up the dps on this little number. Your flame cloaks combined will create 16 DPS. Two Fire Breaths, at a minimum, deal 100 (not counting resistances. Let's say you managed to keep it all going for a mere 8 seconds. This would total 228 dmg not including the 50% bonus from Augmented Flames and any bonus from a Destruction potion. This also doesn't include the possibility of a Wall of Flames that will probably double that DPS! If the enemy survives, a a quick swing of your mace will finish things off :) Frost Atronachs actually stick around on their own AND stagger opponents. Just be careful with your Fire Breath and Fireballs lol

Sorry of the novel everyone but I just couldn't omit anything! There was so much more I could have added like my use of tons of random poisons/potions: Frost Resistance, Aversion to Fire, Destruction Potions, Defender potions...just to name a few :) Although Alchemy wasn't in the build, potions still played a great role. Thanks for the likes Anderson and Jin and anyone else I missed :)

Nice work on this, I like these grim, battle-hardened Imperials, and Zurin has fantastic backstory. I haven't looked at any kind of smithing guide other than to see that dwarven smithing is the most cost effective. I'm wondering the same thing here: are iron daggers the most cost effective early leveling gear? It always seemed to me like helmets were the best, and still use comparatively few materials.

The wiki says 2x Leather Strips and 3x Iron Ingots for a helmet. Iron Dagger is one of each. Thanks for the compliment though! Zurin Arctus is pretty much a badass :)

Proud to be the vehicle for the explanation ;D Really is an epic sounding move, and even better a perfect way to use that Wall of Flame (I've never really found a way to make that spell worth the cast... at least the way I've been casting it). Again, can't wait to try this out :D
