So is the duplication for your follower that has not be inducted into the blades? If not, then what is the purpose?

I suppose, though for me personally, if I start a new character for this build, there is no reason to sell the armor in the first place. But duping makes sense for what he mentioned above, with his regular follower not being in the blades, but still wearing the armor.

It depends if you run enchanting like I did.

You will want an extra set to bolt on some ultimate enchantments once you have the extra effect perk...

When you get that first set of armor you can stick on some low level ones because you know you'll be able to easily create a new set at later levels. Normally you would have to cling onto it and save it for the extra effect perk...

Came out really nice, Mason. I love that trick with the Silenced Tongues quest! Probably one of the coolest mechanics here, IMO. Great enchantments too, and I believe I've already told you how clever I find the idea of using the Blades to force good equipment on your thralls. Nice work, as always!

with all these Lich-ish builds I'd assume you have a thing for Necrophilia  Necromancy.

Started it already and it is really refreshing using necromancy because I've done a lot of good characters at the moment. I'm going to change it a bit and focus more on fear enchants so my thrills can hunt them down

If you're a vampire, especially on Bretons! then it will not recognize the shield as physically equipped! but you still be able to bash and block like you were holding it! it will basically be invisible.
