..I have fought for what seems like centuries... "For what?" I've often wondered.. I've snuffed out countless lives, brought forth nothing but misery and torment, left nothing but death and destruction in my wake, and ultimately, lead many to their impending doom, like lambs to a slaughter. "Why..?"-- for the good of "my people"? For "my beliefs"? No.. those ideas were all but instilled upon me. No.. I've found through countless trials and ordeals that I am nothing more but a Death's herald--a Lord of Chaos, a Harbinger of Destruction and Decay--
    a Ruinlord.

    RUINLORD
    Standing Stone: Lady
    Blessing: Talos or Arkay
Major Skills: Enchanting, Destruction, Two-Handed, Alchemy

    Perks, lv50[Link]: 100 Magicka - 590 Health - 100 Stamina
The Ruinlord is a combination of a dark and grave knight. By melding together the martial capabilities and magical arts of the dark knight with the corrupt vitality and physical prowess of the graveknight, what we get is an incarnate of chaos. One who is specially gifted with ability to cull many lives while leaving behind a path of destruction and decay.

The Ruinlord is a champion of Death and was once a champion of the people. The Lady Stone is taken to reflect your adherence to Namira while the blessings of Arkay and Talos depicts what you once were; however, those virtues has long since been defiled.

Enchanting is taken to reflect your ability to bind the souls of those you've slain, those you've culled ultimately helps to empower you.
Smithing is primarily used in order to keep your greatsword maintained. You'll need to routinely sharpen the edge of your blade with all the things you'll be cutting up.
Alchemy is taken to portray the Ruinlord being constantly surrounded by a noxious aura, one that helps to boosts every aspect of your ability.
Heavy Armor is taken to demonstrate your uncanny ability in withstanding countless deadly blows.

You'll have the ability to channel vast amounts energy and miasma into your weapons allowing you to rend anyone and thing asunder (+300 chaos damage, +150 fire/frost/shock damage, +100 health absorption, poison, attack speed). Those who attempt to flee or fight the from afar will find to their great dismay that even distance will not grant them a moments rest, for the Ruinlord can just as will ravage and end them with a cacophony of spells (+2x listed damage). And what little damage you do take will be quickly regenerated thanks to your unholy vigor imparted to you by your armor, which serves by greatly enhancing your natural health, stamina, and magicka capacity and regeneration (++ health, +30 health regeneration, ++ stamina, ++ stamina regeneration, ++ magicka, ++ magicka regeneration).
    • Armor
      • Daedric Helmet (Fortify Magicka + Fortify Magicka Rate)

      • Ring of Namira
Armor: Your armor has been thoroughly corrupted through out all of the mindless slaughtering. It has become sentient and thirsts for the blood of the living and hungers for the souls of the dead. In doing so your armor encapsulates and further amplifies the your power, helping to further fuel your drive in spread discord all over Tameriel.

The visage of the Ruinlord entraps the arcane knowledge of the lives you've claimed, they grants you the ability to channel vast variety of maleficent spells. The armor and gauntlets of the Ruinlord helps to contain your malignant flesh and soul, the armor has become one with you gifting you its unholy regenerative prowess, allowing you to absorb fatal attacks one after another. And the boots of the Ruinlord ensures that you'll continue standing and moving, even should every bone in your body shatters and every fiber of your muscles and tendons gets ripped to shreds.

Clothing: In ages past before being defiled into what you are now, you were once a champion of the people, of Talos; however, even as a Ruinlord you're still "blessed" by the people. For as a champion of Namira, by consuming the very flesh of the people you were tasked to defend you're able to further invigorate your wretched existence.
    • Weapons
      • Honed Ancient Nord Greatsword (Unenchanted) - Ruinbringer
      • Silver Sword (Fiery Soul Trap + Fire Damage) - Dark Savior
      • Stalhrim Sword (Chaos Damage + Absorb Health) - Reaper's Edge
      • Stalhrim Dagger (Chaos Damage + F/Ft/S Damage) - Blade of Resonance
Ruinbringer: By continually honing your greatsword in the flesh and blood of the still breathing and having it bask in the souls of the damned, the Ruinlord's greatsword transcends the mortal planes. The greatsword is capable of seething layers of miasma which is especially deadly towards the living and invites forth total debilitation towards those unlucky enough get struck by it. It also has the ability of being used as a conduit for souls wishing to impart their hatred and wrath upon the world, allowing you to wield your weapons faster and deadlier.

Dark Savior: What was once your ornate holy sword entrusted to you to be used to protect the living is now used with the intent to extract the souls of the living as well as the dead. The silver sword is especially powerful when used purge the undead, however is also equally capable in scourging the living.

Chaos Stalhrim Weapons (Reaper's Edge, Blade of Resonance): The Ruinlord has the innate ability to channel vast amounts of destructive power into specially soul bounded weapons helping to give birth to a new type of chaotic weapon, one that is capable of discharging extremely explosive amounts of volatile energy.

By combining Chaos Damage with a second effect, even those that wouldn't normally get boosted, you'll be supercharging that second effect to a mind boggling 5x the magnitude and this is WITHOUT THE USE OF EXPLOITS (ie. NO RESTORATION STACKING). This means it's possible in turning a paltry +20 absorb health to an unheard of +100 magnitude (this works for other effects too).

Now , when applied onto Stalhrim you'll find your chaos and frost damage boosted even further by 25%. Meaning you can achieve a possible damage of +500 damage.. ALL WITHOUT THE USE OF ANY FORTIFY RESTORATION OR DESTRUCTION POTIONS. Drink a fortify destruction and you'll be doing +1000 damage. Now get even more ridiculous here and assume your target was poisoned and you'll find yourself doing a mind boggling +2000 damage.

    Potions:

Information in regards to fortify potions:

You can effectively boost your enchanted equipment, standing stones, and blessings by drinking a fortify restoration/destruction potion then re-equipping them.

You can take this even further by stacking fortifying effects and then boosting your enchantments. As of the latest official (1.9v) Skyrim, you'll only be able stack Restoration potions (confirmed with TES5Edit).

The Ruinlord may be somewhat craft intensive, however most of the mind numbing grinding can be circumvented by utilizing the fortify restoration loop. Getting Alchemy and Smithing up this way ensures you'll take advantage of your gear's enchantments without vesting much time and ingredients/components. You'll want Smithing maxed out early on so you can reset it after having crafted your Daedric Helmet(s).

In order to stack fortify restoration potion, all you require is two variation of the potion; a single effect potion and a multiple effect potion; drink the single effect potion followed by the multiple effect potion and repeat until you get your desired results.

Leveling Alchemy and Smithing with Fortify Restoration loop:

    1. Stock pile at least 2 dozen Salt Pile, 1 dozen Abecean Longfin, 1 dozen Cyrodilic Spadetail, and 1 dozen White Cap (or Garlic), this will be for your Fortify Restoration; stock pile at least 1 Glowing Mushroom and 1 Blisterwort, this will be your Fortify Smithing.

    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until your percentages are in the 7 digits or until your Alchemy hits 100.
    7. Make a Fortify Smithing.

+1 by fare one of the best new builds ive seen lately. i would like to give this builds a try sometime but 1) what race sould i use? and 2) what quests sould i do?

The format here is definitely starting to come together Jake, presenattion is really nice. It does run a little confusing due to your fact-file way of doing things...

Fortify resto part is detailed but perhaps a little late to the party and definitely overkill for most here.

I like what you're doing though and you definitely get a +1 for the amazing effort. Looks like a beast but some of the staggering damage numbers that you've listed here... people won't have a clue how you got them as it stands. That Will o the Wisp 'finality' with its 9 steps is crazy...

    1. Pick the race you like, it really doesn't matter-- I tend to pick an Altmer for his naturally tall stature/presence, however you can pick Orc for Berserker Rage.

    2. It's inferred. Do the quests required to get the items/spells listed in the build.

Awsome build man, I'm not one to play a "god like" Character but you get a big +1 for great presentation and originality.

Appreciate your input Pen. As to that I'll just say this: some days you just want to play with the big guns and not worry so much about self preservation-- this does just that.
