Anytime I tell them to follow me, and then try to dismiss them, I can't select the dialogue choices. I press A akatosh knows how many times, but I cant tell them to do anything. Both times this has happened to me, I've had to kill 'em. Poor garn...
Also, can an ash spawn be summoned alongside arniel and mistman? Or does one of them just disappear? And what's the strategy for automatons, cause they resist drain life xp. I'm thinking of using wrath man instead of mist man, but idk...

Can't really talk about the dog set up man... might be a glitch with the game. Sorry.
As for having an ash spawn out at the same time as arniel's shade, don't think that's gonna work, since ash spawn cancels out any exsisting summons you may have. In short both arniel's shade and conjure ashspawn cancel out each other.
Dealing with automatons is a bit tricky. I would still suggest sticking to ranged summons instead of wrathman summons. There are 2 ways for approaching this:
Summon Arniel's shade (tank) + Conjure Storm Atronach (DPS) + Lydia (Ranged bow)
Once Arniel's times out, lydia will tank and you can use conjure flaming familiar for DPS.
Alternatively, just summon 2 storm atronachs, let lydia tank and heal if she gets too low. Summon Bound bow and provide an underpowered ranged damage (no mystic binding and no points in marksman kind of bound bow damage).
The last option, if it's not beneath you, you can use the staff of magnus for DPS, but it's gonna cause squat damage i suppose. Best bet would be to let lydia tank and your summons damage.
Hope it helps.

Build Update:
Added Skill: Crimson Transfusion - Combining the blood of the ancients buff with vampiric drain, the AOE vampiric spells now cost next to nothing. Suitable when mid ranging a group of enemies and sustaining a steady flow of magicka. Also very useful against single target difficult mobs like bandit chiefs, Giants and Dragons.
Presentation update: Ritual of Bloodlust - Ritual has been changed. Done away with the Ring of Hircine glitch for the Vampire Lord Follower Glitch. Not only does it allow to solve the RoN ability not functioning post 1.9 patch, but it also feels a little more vampiric inclined, staying true to the concept of rituals. Plus, it allows or a lot more than just rings

Holy cow! This interpretation of blood magic is pretty dang sweet, if I do say so myself. It certainly blows my Nightblood Rogue out of the water. You need to get these tags fixed and properly get this out there!
I do have some questions about the glitched spells, though:
1) Do you have to re-apply the Ritual of Chaos any time you want to use Vampiric Drain, or should it stay?
2) Since this is a glitch, I'm unsure about how the spells relate to vampirism itself. If I were to cure myself of vampirism while I had the Ritual of Chaos spells equipped in humanoid form, would they be taken away, or would they stay?
Sorry about reviving this thread, if you guys have rules against that sort of thing.

Have to say this is probably the best blood-based build I've ever seen. Also, I think you might have a problem with your tags or maybe you did that on purpose? Anyways, I am definitely trying this out later.

Hey CounterfietFrenchman,
Thanks mate. I did take a look at your build on mobile on the way to work today... was intending to comment later.. might have some tips for you to improve, but more on that later. Let's address the questions you have for this build:
1) Do you have to re-apply the Ritual of Chaos any time you want to use Vampiric Drain, or should it stay?
[Warlocksg]: Glitch will stay, as long as you don't accidentally equip any spells, staves or weapons in right hands. In case you do and lose the glitch, perform the ritual and you're good to go.
2) Since this is a glitch, I'm unsure about how the spells relate to vampirism itself. If I were to cure myself of vampirism while I had the Ritual of Chaos spells equipped in humanoid form, would they be taken away, or would they stay?
[Warlocksg]: Blood magic in skyrim, like most games are gained with the assistance of some demonic embodiment. That embodiment here, is Molag Bal. Molag Bal is the father of all vampires, and with the core mechanics of the build itself using Vampiric drain, that's how the glitch is related to Vampirism.
Whilst i haven't cured myself of vampirism yet, i don't know if the AOE version of Vampiric Drain will hold. I do know there is a glitch where while having the vampiric drain spell equipped in the right hand and getting cured at morthal through falion, you can technically retain vampiric drain standard version as a human. Not sure if it would work out for this version of vampiric drain.
Apologies for the rather long response, but yeah, it takes quite a bit of explaining

Hey Roninberg,
Sure thing! Yeah, i think most people here know, but i suck at tagging my builds... I need to work on them i suppose. In the meantime, fee free to visit my page and see if there are any other builds you might like. I can assure you, not all off them might be tagged properly, so they'll prob slip of the radar... hidden gems if you like.

Haha, I understand completely, I had the same problem with tags on my build. But let me help you out. If you want to tag it into a category for example the "mage" category, you just type "Character Build Mage", exactly like that as in with the whole quotation marks and then add the coma after to separate between tags. You can replace mage with the other categories in the archive. And I'll definitely be checking out your other builds as soon as I'm done with this one!
