@Alastor: Glad I could help mate. Whilst I have tried in the past to collaborate on builds, i've never really taken off most of them due to my RL commitments, backing me out weeks even months! I would be happy to throw suggestions your way though to help out for fleshing any characters you might create.

Hey, Glad you liked the Build

Yeap, making magic having a price makes it all that more awesome doesn't it? Had it my way, I would find a way to convert all the resources to power spells, not just Magicka or Health.

For example, stamina could be used to power some spells of beneficial nature (Illusion buffs like courage and call to arms). This is in addition to the relative amount of power attacks that would benefit most spellsword or battlemage builds.

Destruction and alteration spells can be utilizing Magicka, since they are arcane in nature and more of "magey" kinda spells.

Health can be used to power Restoration spells and Conjuration, since the nature of both spells involve healing and the sacrifice of some blood to summon minions. It would also make sense since the Respite perk that exist in the restoration tree affects stamina.

Just my 2 cents worth on this.

    Hey James,

Sorry, must have missed your post. I understand the angle you're coming from and agree to a certain extent on the eventual boredom of glitch based builds... which is why i think that this buildis kinda different.

Boredom of a glitched mechanic settles in when it becomes auxiliary, at least IMO. When you're dependant on said mechanic as the main form of sustenance and offense... it comes rather critical and therefore, unboring i suppose?

Holy bejeezus, this build speaks to me. Especially the elements you borrowed from Vladimir and Avatar...at least, from what I can tell. This is a true-blooded mage (haha, see what I did there?). Obvious +1!

    Hey Taylor,

Thanks for the like! "true blooded" indeed!

Of course, vladimir's skillset was a big inspiration, not so much the avatars... though i suppose you can gain vampiric grip to emulate it.... would be awesome with high magicka regen...

Nothing beats a Blood Lord Vladimir :P

I play on console, is there a way to switch through spells without getting rid of the blood siphon spell in your right hand? Or atleast set that spell as a favorite or something

I don't think so, spell switching is very limited and clunky on console...

If by Blood Siphon you mean the Vampire Lord version of Vampiric Drain, then yes you can cycle through spells. As long as Vampiric Drain is in your right hand, any hotkeyed spell will default to your left hand. Be careful not to equip the same hotkey spell twice because it will equip it to both hands!

    Did that make sense?

    yes thank you :)
