I wanted a build that created strength in the Khajiits natural power. Night Vision. Which is a pretty bad power honestly. But I wanted to bring the idea of "vision" and "sight" to the next level. I also hoped to create a character reminiscent of the original oblivion nightblades who focus is alteration and restoration instead illusion which is how most nightblades benefit themselves with magic. The Twilight Magician is Nightblade/Spellsword who uses a new form of "Sky Magic" which be prominent throughout each and every single one of his abilities. The Twilight Magician uses a decent amount of Dawngaurd and Dragonborn DLC material. Be wary.

You were once a different form of Khajiit. An Alfiq. This breed of Khajiit has the form of of a typical housecat and incapable of speech. Hardly capable of traveling. To be able to safely travel and discover magics in the world of nirn.  You changed fate using powerful alteration magic to change your physical form usually chosen by the sign of the moons. Using a combination of Alteration and Lunar magic. You changed your form to that of the Suthay-Raht. However due to your abuse of magic you were banished from your clan.  Now you travel Nirn. Studying Dawn Magic and looking for powerful artifacts to further your studies. And too most importantly discover the secrets of Azurah

    Race: Khajiit

Stone: The Atronach and The Shadow.

Weapons: Your signature item is the Staff Of Magnus. As Magnus represents the sun. its a good weapon for a Sky Mage. It will keep your magic refilled in battles and even potentially health. It will easily help you defeat enemy mages and fits with the theme.

You also use Khajiits natural stealth ability. So its nice to have Merunes Razor and any other sort of one handed weapon in order to get your attacks off. Merune is part of the Khajiit Pantheon and it makes sense to spread his influence on Tamriel

You also want Auriel's Bow as soon as possible. To give you dominion over the magic of the sky. And to possibly block out the sky to strengthen your powers of the night.

Gear: Mirraak's Robe's boots and gloves. Their aesthetically pleasing as well as very useful.

You also will need the Autherial Crown to give you control over the stars.

Shouts: Storm Call to control the weather. And Aura Whisper to give you the ultimate form of vision. Giving you sight over all your enemies.

    Skills

Alteration: This is your main magic. It will serve you well with its many utility aspect and uses. Shoot balls of light to distract enemies. Use Telekinesis to grab items you need without alerting the enemy. While it has many skills people would consider "useless". Waterbreath to hide from the enemy so you can hide from the water and return when they think your dead and drowned.

And most importantly. Use Detect life and Detect Death to along with your constant Night vision to scout camps and have the upperhand in assassinations. Keep track of the enemies movements. Be strategics. The sun represents all magic and magic represents life. Use your powers of the sun to sense the Magic within creatures of living and the dead.

Restoration: Restoration is the ultimate form of power of the Sun. Use Stendarr's Beacon to control the power of the sun. Shoot balls of shining light to destroy enemies. Turn the undead using the Use it to keep yourself safe and alive consistently. And even burst your power as a vampire.

Destruction: Destruction Magic is your main source of damage once uncovered. Use powerful magic to destroy your enemies. Use the skies lighting to destroy your enemies and create powerful storms of ice and lighting.

One Handed And Sneak: While once uncovered you will put your dagger down and use destruction magic. It only makes sense that a Khajiit have natural skill in the area and it will help with extremely powerful enemies.

    Ideal perk Spread: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#314661

Gameplay You should approach most problems quietly as an assassin. Using your various combination of vision spells to make sure you never run into the enemy.  However sometimes straight foward battle is unavoidable. This is when you become an indestructible spellsword. As restoration and Alteration are both defensive skills not much can stand in your way. Make use of the powerful Solar and Lunar magics are your disposal. The Staff Of Magnus (which you get alot of use out of. Since it counts as an Alteration and Restoration Affect) will demolish mages. Use light Magic with alteration. Call the power of the skies to create storms and lighting to destroy enemies. As a magician with many many strategies as his disposal it is important to be able to decide which is the best for each battle. Will you attack with your ward and your dagger or a dagger and spell? Will you use your Dawn Magics or Dusk Magics? Theirs many options and its important to keep balance between the Dusk and the Dawn.

Role play And the Difference Between Magics

As a magician of the Dawn and Dusk you represent balance between the sun and the moon. Do not depend too much on one or the other. Do not only travel during the day or during the night. Feel the power of both. The Khajiit race was created by the God Azurah who was given powerful secrets in order to create the race. As a Mage Of Twilight you are consistently in search of these secrets. Looking for any power related to the Sky and any magics related to the Stars, Moon, Or the Sun, Even if that means becoming a creature of the night or a beast warrior. You worship Azurah and the Khajiit Pantheon. But you are however a Mage of Balance. Remember you are a mage of Twilight. Not the sun or the moon. Be wary and use both to your advantage and keep balance between both. Don't accidentally become a paladin and don't accidentally play as an assassin. Balance requires using a variety of magics in order to stay true to the idea of Twilight. As far as how your character reacts to his banishment is up to you. Are they sorrowful? Bitter? Angry? That is your decision based on your characters development and growth in the world of Skyrim. Keep Night Vision on 100% of the time because this is how Khajiit see the world.

Looks nice, although there are a few glaring(to me anyways) spelling and grammar issues.

    • "Autherial" is spelled "Aetherial"
    • "Turn the undead using the Use it to keep yourself safe and alive consistently" You seemed to be going in two separate directions with this sentence.
    • Every now and then there's a few capitalization errors, mostly in terms of pride capitalizing when it comes to "Mage Of Twilight", where "of" is needlessly capitalized.
    • I did a second read over and noticed you use a lot of pride capitals, words you capitalize because they mean something to you. This is generally fine when used sparingly, but become visually unpleasing the more you use at once.

In terms of perk spread, it just seems you went all the way to 100 in every tree you picked. I can understand the two main focused of Restoration and Alteration, but why the need to specialize into Master Destruction?

The grammar wasn't perfect but a good job over all (and if I get dawnguard and/or dragonborn this will certainly be my first build to try out! :)

I havent used the staff of magnus in a while so I don't know offhand but when did they change it so that it absorbs the magicka/health? It used to only 'damage' the stats, you didn't actually absorb it. You mention using the staff as one of the core elements of this build and cite that it will keep your magicka topped up through absorb so eitherthey changed how it works and i'm just way behind on thetimes or this character is completely untested.

I'm not sure when they fixed it but I can attest that they did fix the absorb magic effect on the staff. The absorb health effect is another story and seems that it doesn't even damage health anymore.

It's pretty much just going to absorb magic even after draining a target of theirs complete so you virtually never run out of magic using it.

When I reached the Roleplay I understood all your choices. If you put it on top it may make others more interested IMO
