That's cool, I was hoping it wouldn't come off too cheesy. RP elements can be tough to include in a build without harming it sometimes.

Very nice! I've been wanting to play a mage, and this sounds like a fun one! Though I want to ask....what the heck is he fighting in that last screenshot!

This is an awsome build, well thought out, I've wanted to make a staff build for a while now, thanks for the whereabouts for the staves in the beginning

Love the fact that he has a real reason for all the quests he does. +1 from me!

Nice build, I guess my only beef would be that your character is not a battlemage, but rather, a pure mage. Battlemages fight with a weapon in one hand and a spell in the other. Battlemages are also armored head to toe. Not a real issue, just clarifying terms. But like I said, all in all, cool build.

Thanks dude :-) Yeah I'm not talking about a Battlemage as in the class (otherwise I would have added the Battlemage tag), rather the Imperial Battlemage which is a specific role in the Emporer's court in the ES lore. That said in the ES universe the term 'Battlemage' has never been specifically defined. Some have been in full heavy armour, others not. There is however a definition on the tag description on this site so that's why I chose different tags.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, I remember in oblivion, there was a battlemage. His name was Ocato I believe. I just put it as a heads up for people that don't get it.

Don't know if it's been said in the comments, but how do you level Destruction if you're only casting Destruction spells from a staff?
