The links to the perk spreads is pretty tough to see. Other than that everything looks fine.

Well, I copied and pasted the HTML for this build directly from the Undying, so I can't imagine why it would work for you there and not here.  Did you view the Undying from your iPad, or your Xbox?  I have a feeling the Xbox web browser is incapable of displaying the text-shadow code.  It should work on normal operating systems.  Hopefully someone else will chime in soon.

So you give him alteration, which is the lamest of the magics over a few restoration perks

Yes, and there are multiple reasons why.  Which I explained in the write-up.  And why is Alteration lame?  I find it to be really effective and beneficial, and practically speaking, it complements the rest of the build's skill set quite well.

In my play testing, I found it more pleasurable to avoid healing spells and potions by using Block and Alteration to minimize the need for healing during/after battles.  If you disagree with my findings and want to play this build with Restoration instead of Alteration, that's your prerogative.  Builds are just templates.

I was play testing mostly on Expert, and Block (esp. Quick Reflexes and Power Bash) was really helpful to avoid taking too much damage.  If you play on Adept and choose to pick up Restoration, you might not end up needing Block as much.
