Thanks man, it's actually surprisingly hard to get it working right, on my first build it took several tries to get it working, but now I just copy and paste the code from that and replace the relevant section.

    Glad you like it!

yeah, I'm pretty sure honor was invented to prevent mass murder. Too bad it doesn't work most of the time lol

I love this!! I have a character from a story I've had in the works for over a decade now, and depending on what I can do, I usually make him in the games I play. His story here is that he WAS a proud Imperial soldier. He held his Empire in honorable, loyal, and high regard. He believed his empire would NEVER cower to bullies, never betray the NINE divines, would NEVER betray Talos, and would NEVER betray the people he and his soldiers shed blood, sweat, and tears for, given their LIVES for. Then came the White-Gold Concordat, and he began to speak up about it. The more he spoke up, the more the Thalmor strong-armed the Empire into trying to silence him. They had him kicked out of the service, he kept talking. They had his wealth taken, he kept talking. They had all his belonging taken and destroyed, he questioned the Empire's loyalty. They had his wife and son executed before his very eyes, he cursed the Imperial leaders for pathetic, dishonorable cowards and traitors, and swore the Thalmor would see their own ruin one day, and prayed that a NEW, stronger, more faithful Empire, would be there to help bring it to fruition. They had him exiled, and sent to Skyrim. When his name was called, he refused to answer, having thrown his old life away, along with any love he had for this current Empire. Trying to reignite the fire and passion in his Empire, they called him a traitor and, with the goading and watching of the Thalmor, destroyed his life, then tried to have him executed, for nothing but speaking the truth, and standing up for what was right. I LOVE creating backgrounds and stories!!

This will be my first knight i must say it is quite impressive for using illusion since i thought it wasn't really for a warrior. thanks will be testing this now.

Thanks for deciding to use my build!

I think Oblivion gave the knight class illusion because it was part of being charismatic, I basically only ever used it to get the best prices from merchants and convince people to give me information back in the TES4 days.

I was trying to figure out the best way to translate this to Skyrim and just decided on not perking Illusion, but still hinting at the charismatic aspect by using the courage spell to amplify your allies. I love how easy it is to get level ups when firing off courage only a few times near the beginning of the game.

Another fun way to use it to simulate honor in combat is to shoot courage at enemies who are cowering. This makes them get up and fight, and you don't have to feel dishonorable for striking down a defenseless foe.

That's a cool backstory, and it could go well with both alignment paths; he either sticks to his honor and pursues his revenge on the battlefield or he gives into his rage, taking the path of a fallen knight, culminating in joining the Dark Brotherhood and removing the head of Titus Mede II =p
