If you do that though, you can't use Dragon Aspect (for its actual effects) again without toggling off the permanent Dragon Aspect appearance. Considering that the Prodigy uses the shout for gameplay reasons, this isn't an ideal glitch to use with the build. You'd be better off using it on a build that doesn't otherwise use Dragon Aspect.

Does the whrilwind sprint assassination actually work? Never managed to pull it off, is there any triks to go about and do that?

I think I'll try this build, but lose the sneak and illusion perks for the rightmost route to extra effect in enchanting, and the left branch on the block tree. I feel I would enjoy it more.

Auriel's Shield would be epic with this character once you manage to acquire it. A shield that can Fus-Ro-Dah could be pretty handy.

Also, I hear Miraak's boots and gauntlets don't conflict with mage armor. If you wore his robes, boots, and gauntlets and combined those with the atronach stone and atronach perk you would have 100% spell absorption (I don't believe there is a cap on it) Personally I would avoid using his mask for fear of becoming like he was. The mask also looks lame. I also use a mod to let me wear circlets with hoods, so I could do a better combo without the mask.

On a side note, after seeing the first Hobbit movie last night, the unarmored with shield and sword combat style reminded me a bit of Thorin Oakshield. Too bad you can't get a parrying gauntlet lol!

After trying this combat style briefly and having attempted a dragoon and a skaal crusader character I had an idea! Here is what I think I'll try. http://skyrimcalculator.com/#343179

I would be unarmored in order to be more mobile. The greatsword has nice reach which synergises nicely with his mobility. I would switch to a dual cast healing spell as needed, and dual-cast alteration spells so they last longer. I went up the left side of the smithing tree to dragon smithing so he could make an awesome dragonbone greatsword. I only did the armor side of the smithing tree for enchanting and will use elemental fury rather than a custom enchant.

Question: what companion would you recommend as we go along this build? I was think in of one of the mages, but I'd like everyone's opinion on the matter anyway

I'd probably go with Frea, she's got armor skills, dual wielding, archery and can heal. Plus she's got personal reasons to help take down Miraak.

Well, what about early on? Or should I just go it alone?
