+1 to what others have said, although this isn't my type of character I appreciate the build's brilliance all the same!

Says the guy who dual-wielded the Staff of Chain Lighting with Windshear.

Yeah, but I forgot to credit you in the video like I said I would.

Yeah, the Montalion Tincture on a Necromage vamp is something to behold ... Especially with Berserker Rage! Even on Legendary, I think you'd be one-shotting a lot of enemies.

Cheers, buddy. I know it's not the type of build that will appeal to everybody, but it's nice to know you can see some merit in it all the same.

Awesome revamp Teccam! It's far more streamlined now, and much more powerful by the looks of it! Is the Montalion Tincture your Fortify Marksman potion as well? I'm fair sure Canis Root adds that, though the numbers are included in the overall 618%? And I'd really recommend just doing the Atronach Stone trick in Raldbthar for getting to Necromage. It's a lot of money to train up to 70, since each level after 50 costs something like 1000+. That's already 20,000, then another 30 or so levels of 500 gold, 15,000 or something. While my numbers will undoubtedly be off, it's an insane amount of money needed to get to Necromage. I've always had to resort to pickpocketing the money back after paralysing Colette. Seeing these revamps makes me want to get a couple of my old builds done up... To the workshop!

Thanks, Raid. Yeah, that 618% is the combined multiplicative effect of both the One-handed and Marksman effects on that potion -- +168% apiece after Necromage.

As for training, well ... Personally, I did use Raldbthar when I ran the build.

But I figure a lot of people know similar tricks for leveling it up, and I don't really like to promote grinding in my writeups if I can help it because a lot of people don't like it (and those that do usually already know the best ways).

Paying for training isn't actually too bad here, because you can use the potions you made while leveling up grinding to finance your payments. You have to sell them to other merchants, though (unless you pick up the Merchant perk and then reset your Speech perks, which feels equally grindy). Still, getting the money isn't tough, just tedious vising all the merchants. I recommend doing it in bursts, maybe 12K-15K at a time or so. Throw in money from dungeon diving and questing, and it comes pretty organically.

And yeah, definitely do it! I'm very proud of this one and it's been awesome seeing it get a bit of life after so many months gathering dust. I think it's gotten around nine or ten likes already, and two pages of comments, in less than 12 hours since the revamp! I've got some plans lined up for a few of my other builds too -- nothing as major as this one, but still, there's always room for improvement, eh?
