Is poison rune not affected by the difficulty slider? If it is then how can it be viable at all on harder settings? If it only does 30ish damage on master/legendary then that isnt going to make a dent.

Well on Master it would do 45 damage for 36 magicka (Adept perk and over 50% reduction with enchantments), so it'd be viable for mid-game levels, though after awhile the damage would be trivial and the player would be forced to use the fireball of maximum OPness (Ignite).

22 on Legendary (rounded from 22.5)

I am beginning to see (no number confirmation) that poison runes stack on each other. I am also using Fortify Restoration potions, so the runes can put out some serious damage. Need checking on this, but on Master for my first play test with runes, it seemed to be giving out some serious hurt! Will continue to test for build and also for these special moves. Nice going Zach!

Legendary seems too needlessly tedious to me. It won't require more skill, just more grinding.

It seemed to work perfectly fine for me. In the magic area under all effects it showed the boosts.

I was actually considering having a picture of that Sesomy Street guy in there for sh!ts and giggles .

Those runes are so nasty! Even with quiet casting they work better than ignite for stealth. I find that since ignite is a projectile it seems a lot easy to by discovered, like when you fire off a fury or fear spell. But with poison rune it takes them forever to find you. Anyways, thank you.

Yup. They stack and it can get brutal. I easily put 20+ runes on some enemies and they drop like flies (I only play on expert). While all that is happening you can easily deal that same amount of damage in 15-ish knife swings, and then your summons and furies enemies are attacking them too. You can imagine how powerful it gets.

I am not sure if the difficulty affects poison rune. I play on expert, so it does not make a massive amount of difference.
