    Presenting…The Joker

You wanna know how I got these scars? My father was a drinker, and a fiend. And one night, he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and says, "Why so serious?"

He comes at me with the knife. "WHY SO SERIOUS?" He sticks the blade in my mouth... "Let's put a smile on that face!" And.

    Why so serious?

Something unexpected and I bet this hasn’t even crossed your mind until now, what it would be like to play as a villain from a movie but in the Skyrim world. This character as you can see is based from the movie The Dark Knight played by the actor Heath Ledger. The unexpected Thinker rather than a brute force he carefully sets ambushes and always has a deadly plan up his sleeve to the extent enemies will rush in most of the time and find themselves walking into a trap. Just to warn you if you like to run around using bulky weapons and armour this build is not for you it is for the people that are up for a challenge. This build can be powerful if you know how to use it so I will make it easy as possible for you any feedback or questions leave at the bottom of the page. I did try adding illusion into the mix being that this character is vampire it’s optional but I didn’t need it, at all. I also thought instead of a sword using a dagger but its up to you.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    M2 / H1 / S1

Race- High elf, Breton or Dunmer for the looks and the magic resistance I recommend The Breton but the choice is yours. You want this character with green hair white tattoo the one covering most of the face, scars and your jaw to be big with the eyes trying to look as dark as possible. Do not wear a mask or helmet at all.

Standing stone - Mage stone (what I picked), The Shadow stone

    The build

    • This character casts alteration spells to find where the enemy is and to give him a defensive edge
    • He sneaks around when he’s found an enemy who doesn’t see him
    • He uses Destruction magic to set traps and fight from a distance
    • One handed weapon as a secondary attack when the enemy gets close enough
    • Different armour sets depending on how far in the game you are
    • Becomes a vampire in the Dawnguard Quest line
    • Skilled in the art of Restoration magic to dual-cast heal himself

The Joker can gradually develop getting more exciting as we get into the build with the various Armour sets what is right for me may not be for you so I give you the choice. Sell most of the things that are worth a lot any enchanted items pick up and buy health, stamina and most importantly magic potions. Right then

    here…we….go!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Combat

Why so serious - Fire Rune, Dual casting Firebolts, Unrelenting force ( all 3 words ), Sword

A merciless finisher move what to do is Cast a Fire Rune on a wall where you want the attack to finish use dual casting Firebolts to damage your opponent until they get to you then use unrelenting force (all 3 words) to push your enemy into your fire rune which does even more damage then while your opponent is on the floor if they are still alive draw your sword and hack them to death while they are on the ground like the psychotic clown you are.

Let’s put a smile on that face - Oakflesh or Stoneflesh, Fire rune, Whirlwind sprint, Sword

You see an enemy far away so you Cast Oakflesh or Stoneflesh then you charge Fire rune, whirlwind sprint let the fire rune explode in their face. The enemy is close to you power attack with sword charge the Fire rune let it off next to them and then Whirlwind sprint away.

Now I see the funny side, now I’m always smiling - Fire rune, Main ability Breton - against magic users, High elf - against anyone, Dunmer - against anyone close

Use Become Ethereal shout then Fire rune use your main ability to regenerate magic then use another Fire rune works great with multiple enemies because Fire Runes cover an area so it hits a few if they are close enough to it. To get them close its good to do this move near a door or in a cave. You can also sneak while doing this if the enemy cannot see you even better it’s like an invisible enemy!

You see, I'm a guy of simple taste. I enjoy dynamite, and gunpowder, and gasoline! - Fire rune, Dual casting Firebolts, Become Ethereal, sword

In a corridor cast a Fire rune as far as you can, when enemies are near obviously! Then dual cast Firebolts so when the enemy comes they run into your Fire rune and they also get damage from your dual casted spell, by the time they reach you use Become Ethereal and switch to sword use non power attacks.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Shouts & Spells

Become Ethereal When in danger and to jump off cliffs and survive!. When you become a vampire in sunlight you should use this shout to protect stamina and magicka. If there is something like a bear or troll it is a good shout to stop the deadly blows, dragons too!

Unrelenting Force Used heavily in the special moves and makes this shout so much more fun

Whirlwind Sprint Used as special moves and to get around Skyrim

Healing and Flames to start with then purchase from Whiterun the fast healing, fire rune, Firebolt, Oakflesh and Stoneflesh.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Followers Hello Beautiful

Lydia, Serana or one of the dogs in Dawnguard I chose Cusith because hes really fast at getting to the enemy and keeping up with you

Give your follower potions they can heal themselves.

When your inventory is full too many items why not give some to Serana so you can carry more

    The Path of the Joker

Exploring + Main quest until finished cornered rat quest (approximately level 15)

Dawnguard join the vampires get Harkon’s sword at the end and block sunlight if you’re out in the sun

    Armour sets

    1. Hide Boots, Stormcloak Cuirass, Light Bracers, Iron sword (Beginning of main quest)
    2. Ring of Minor wielding, Scaled armour, Amulet of talos (High Hrothgar kill the woman on the way there), Blessing of talos bonus(Whiterun), Steel sword
    3. Elven light armour or Elven armour, boots, gauntlets(Thalmor embassy) Blades sword (A blade in the dark on the wall)
    4. Vampire armour then Royal vampire armour, boots, vampire gauntlets (Chasing echoes) Blades sword or Harkon’s sword at the end (Dawnguard)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Enchantment choice

    What I picked is below:

Fortify Destruction & Magicka Regen – Body

    Fortify Health – Ring

Resist Fire – Boots (Counteracts vampirism)

    Fortify Destruction – Necklace

    Fortify Light Armour - Gloves

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like it, I've been trying to do this build myself just can't get it right. I think it needs some alchemy though cuz the joker is a master of poisons.

Thanks Ben C & xivTECO (You can always use Alchemy just not invest perks or switch with Restoration comes down to personal preference)

Brynjolf - Sorted then! didn't know the Xbox version couldn't do everything you would think being the same game it would be the same, Out of curiosity are there things the Xbox version can do the PC version can't?
