    Hehe Conan was a lion, Kull a tiger. Cugel, ...a house cat. Also, Cugel is now of Exemplar Rank! Thanks guys!

    Admittedly I am immediately uninterested in a novice difficulty build but that is simply a matter of personal preference. That said there's noreason this concept couldn't work on higher difficulty with a few tweaks, the 'cowardly thief' trope has been touched on by a few other builds on this site and I believe they were all on higher difficulties. Perhaps an update for harder settings would get this build some more attention, it's certainly a great concept.

    Danke, but negative on that front. I'm not so deeply concerned with the amount of likes it has or hasn't got. The fact that it has brought at least a handful of people some fun is enough for me. if I change it up, its no longer my creation as I wanted it, it would just be me catering to others tastes for more likes. Feel encouraged to tweak it to your own satisfaction however.

    I really liked it mate, it's honestly not something I'd ever play personally but the concept of this character is really nice and very different... I can see this build inspiring others to play the game in a completely unusual way so I appreciate it for what it is.

    Really well written, it reminds me of the 'Town Drunk' build that we have here somewhere...you should track that one down, I think you would like it.

    Ha! I'm familiar with "The Kook", but the Town Drunk slipped under my radar! (checks pockets)

    I'm starting a new character tonight, and making a build later down the line if everything works. This will be a more "traditional" build, and the character concept lacks humor entirely lol. No literary wit or charm will be required, and would probably be out of place! I'm not just a silly goose ya know!

    I have to agree here. I think I'm going to try it on a play-through, but novice just will not instill the 'fear' that higher difficulties will. (I may try it on 'adept', since I play 'dead is dead', else I don't think he'll survive long. But I might try 'master', anyways.

    (I had previously given this build my +1).

    I absolutely love the roleplay of this build!

    "I didn't carry anything more than my flamboyant clothes on my back, one sword, my precious stolen scrolls, maybe occasionally a staff (I pretended the Sanguine Rose shrank down to a normal rose I wore in the chest-pocket of my Jester outfit), and jewels and money. If you are attacked while carrying extra loot, like a set of armor, twelve swords, etc, (or something/things impractical to running away,) DROP IT BEFORE FLEEING. "

    I want to use this particular part for a comprehensive roleplay guide if it's okay?

    I am going to give this a go for a good change of pace, but I will be playing on Master as it adds to the feeling of being in danger.

    +1

    I have a set of about 5 characters that I play constantly throughout TES games and this type of weakling, run away thief was one of my first properly RP'd characters in Morrowind. I never thought anyone else would enjoy the playstyle. +1 for reading my mind, and for making a non-combat focus for a build.

    @M'aiq The Liar

    "So you are really scared of everything"

    I could just imagine someone standing in riverwood say "what a peaceful day", then the player would run by, followed by a bandit with an iron sword and fur armor, followed by 4 skeevers.
