Character Build: The Stormchaser

Alright, I promised an update, and an update there has been! Did a fair amount of rewriting and revising, made some cuts here and there, relocated certain bits, condensed some info, expanded on some other stuff a bit. Completely reformatted the build from the ground up, to be more in line with my other builds (see my page if you haven't seen those yet). Also redid the armor image, and found new special move images also in fitting with my other builds.

Overall, a pretty massive update, but the core of the build remains intact. I may still make some minor tweaks, and perhaps redo the perk spread if I get some time. But for all intents and purposes, the overhaul is complete. Now all eight of my builds are up-to-date.

    And thoughts/feedback is appreciated!

Looks a lot cleaner on my mobile devices but I think I liked the old armor layout and special move pictures more.

Actually had the chance to play around with this build a bit and I think it kicks ass, even without the stagger weapons. I used two enchanted scimitars and had a great time with the build.

I thought I remembered you had a Valdr's Lucky Dagger build and here it is. I've been playing around in my head with that weapon duel-wielded with another blade, the Bladesman perks and Marked for Death shout to really allow that critical damage to shine.

But after rereading this build, it seems you already have the qualities of this dagger sewn up.

I can't believe I missed this. It's really cool, though not as mindblowingly awesome as your Crimson Scar ;)

Bumping for great justice. Rewrote much of the build with a few small tweaks and fixes, to make it significantly more cohesive and to avoid the use of mechanics that never seemed to actually work the way I once thought. Added new screenshots and a new perk spread. Raised the level from 36 to 40.

For the first time, I feel like this build may actually be deserving of the amount of awards/likes it has received.

Your dedication to perfecting your builds never ceases to impress me Teccam

Thanks much, Phil! I've got Albino working on revamping the Progenitor (we had it mocked up a while ago, but I never found the time to properly put it together). With that done, I think I'll finally be satisfied with all my builds. Though there is always room for improvement!

Unfortunately, I'm not expecting to have much time for Skyrim for a while. I'm starting a new full-time job tomorrow -- auditing. And January is the beginning of busy season. I'll probably be doing 10 hour days, possibly 6-day weeks. Plus commute, and maybe some work from home. I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm preparing for it to be that much. If it is, I'll barely have time to handle day-to-day stuff, let alone plan, test, write, and present any new builds. At least, not until I've settled in, gotten into the swing of things, and maybe after busy season tapers off in Spring.

Otherwise, I'd be really looking at joining the mini-builds contest.

Nice and simple. I somehow forgot to like this.

Love new images! Except the one before On Alchemy section, it's a little too clean for my liking. Hope this gets the long overdue Legendary status sooner rather than later!

Edit: You seem to have lost the links from the Acknowledgements section
