    1. I focused on one-handed first, but I tried to get in a sneak attack whenever possible. Sneak levels incredibly quickly early on. All I really needed in Illusion early on was Novice (for Fury) and Dual-Casting.
    2. I hit them. This guy is still a beast in close combat, and keep in mind many Draugr will be lying in their graves before you're detected, giving you an easy sneak attack on them.

I'm noticing that already! I tried a build like this a few days ago, but my inner assassin took over and I leveled my sneak too fast and got unbalanced.

    Thanks for the tips!

Do you remember if you get the nightingale bow or blade first?

Why isn't this on the legendary builds page?

I need help! I'm playing a build super close to this but I am only level 13 so far and if I am spotted its over I get wrecked hardcore on adept, expert, and master any ideas or tips such as should I invest in light armour to stay alive or what?

I played this guy on Master fine, make sure you have a good investment in light armor but the most important part is not getting hit. Try some of these tactics:

    • Have enemies fighting each other from Fury spells, and hit them while they're distracted.
    • Use the speed of a one-handed sword to your advantage by running in, landing a few attacks, and backing out.
    • Use bashes to keep opponents staggered, or break their block with a power attack for some easy stagger.
    • Always try to simply move out of the way of an attack rather than block it, you still take damage on block. If it's a power attack, it's definitely best if you bash it.

I'm playing this build too. What I have been doing is spending my money on trainers to keep to skills I don't use as often (mostly light armor) balanced with my other skills. At level 10-11 I had roughly 30 levels in one handed, light armor, block, sneak, and illusion. After level 30 is when you get a lot of the abilities that makes this build viable so I haven't been training as much since then :)

How much damage were your swords doing in the video? I got the nightingale sword on a different character and after upgrading it the damage amount was 39. My daedric dagger was at 55. (Disclaimer I did use a potion and 15% smithing gear on the dagger and not on the sword). But will the sword be viable late game?
