    The Raven

During the Great War the Empire hired and trained a small army of Bosmer women to act as rogue agents. They were chosen due to their proficiency in archery and their prowess over their male counterparts. They were merciless when it came to their job. They called themselves the Raven's, because they would wear all black, and sniped enemies from their nest.

After the war, they joined together and built The Raven Hall in a hidden location along the border of Cyrodiil and Skyrim. Many years after they built the Hall, they splintered off and went their own way, most found jobs working for Racket bosses using their skills to gain fast cash,  others took to killing for contract, and a small few went back to work for the Empire.

Not much is known of this band or rogues, but it is said that they pass down their special knowledge to their children.

It has also been said that when they splintered off a small few joined The Dark Brotherhood to quench their bow hands thirst, while others went and joined the Thieves Guild, and it is said that one might be apart of the group known as the Nightingales.

It is your choice now young Bosmer, who will you fight for, and more importantly who will you fight against. Be strong in your ways my child, and bring honor to the Raven's.

When you make this character, you have the choice of going either way, the Thieves’ guild route ultimately becoming a Nightingale, or going the Dark Brotherhood route. I personally like the Nightingales, and only kill those who mean me harm. I do however suggest that you do the first quest in the Dark Brotherhood, so you can go into the lair to get the Marked for death shout first piece. Also I don't allow my character to start the Nightingale Quest until I'm above level 46 since I like to have the higher stat version of the armor, and Nightingale Blade.

Another choice I made as far as the current war brewing in Skyrim, I find it important to side with the Empire since the Empire started the Raven's in the first place.

    Character Basic Information

    Magicka/Health/Stamina: 0 / 1 / 2

     Race:  Wood Elf (Bosmer)

Standing Stone: The Shadow Stone, or The Serpent Stone

Major Skills: Archery, Pickpocket, Sneak, Lockpicking, Alchemy

Minor Skills: Light Armor, 1-Handed, Smithing, Enchanting

Dragon Shouts: Become Ethereal, Aura Whisper, and Marked For death, Slow Time

    How To Play The Raven

With minimal one handed skill, you must rely on your archery, alchemy skills, and The Shadow Stone to fight from afar. I like to combine lingering damage health+damage health poison, with an archery potions before starting a fight. If my opponent is not dead before it gets to me, I shout Marked of death and pull out my weapon of choice, or I finish them off, with a slam of my bow, and a steady hand attack.

When I'm Lurking around a city at night, I like to use an invisibility potion, or the shadow stone if I don't have a potion on me. Its just another added support while hustling the citizens of Skyrim.

I like to carry 2 bows on me, a light bow, and a heavy bow(Glass/Dragon) which i will switch between during the fight. I start out with my heavy bow, for instant kills, or heavy damage. I use the light bow for quick attacks against other archers, or when the victim gets within 20 feet of me.

I also only use either a Dagger, or a light long sword, since she only uses her weapon while sneaking, or fighting face to face, I wanted to have the ability to block. Block is a powerful ability to a rogue, not only can you deflect attacks, but when your fighting a hard opponent you can throw a poison on your blade and slam them making for easier/safer poison applications, also to keep this from being another over power install kill backstab rogue, I took out the Assassin's Blade Perk.

KEY: * means that the item is from the expansion listed above.

    Special Moves

Raven's Mayhem: The Raven doesn't always have distance on her opponents, so sometimes she needs to bring a little mayhem to the situation so she can kill her mark.  This requires the completion of quest Darkness Returns.

Nightingale's Subterfuge with a fast change to Slow time. This makes everyone in an AOE start fighting each other, so while my target is being attacked, I sneak up behind him, and lay down a heavy bow shot to the back.

Raven's Mercy: This shows a small kindness that the Raven has, when she just want to go in and get the loot for their contract and get out with-out bothering with fighting everyone they come up to.

Throw Voice with Potion of Invisibility Anyone who has played the rogue before understands this. Throw voice to get the opponent('s) away from you, and fortifying Invisibility gives you a chance to get around them.

Raven's Blood: This is more a toy to play with then a special move. this requires: Human Flesh, Imp Stool, and slaughterfish eggs. This poison is what I call Ravens blood, and I use it to put in peoples pockets, when i want to kill someone without any weapons.

Ravens Blood Poison ( Damage Health, Lingering Damage Health, and Paralysis), with pick pocket skill Poisoned

I made a few changes since yesterday. I took away the Assassin's Blade perk, since you will be using a bow 80% of the time, and the Dagger, or sword for up close frontal attacks. I added level 51 perks, and some special moves. I also updated the story-line. I hope you like the changes, if you have anything else I should fix please let me know.

Instead of dragon bone, can daedric be used instead for damage purposes? Or is that part of the roleplay aspect?

Dragonbone weapons do more damage than Daedric.

Devan, the only problem with going the Daedric line is that you loose out on the fast bow's, plus the Dragonbone weapons pack more punch. I roll-play this character, so this is how I set it up. As far as weapon choices go, I don't see a problem with going daedric, if you want those graphics :D  just remember glass, eleven, and longbow's are faster bows then, Orc, Dwarven, Daedric, and Dragonbone. That's why I specify to have two bows on you, it allows you to switch your killing speed. If you want to go Purely Daedric I would suggest using Elemental Fury Dragon shout with it, though i don't know, and haven't tested it to see if it effects bows. If it does work with bows, that would be great, and i would add it to my dragon shouts, but since I had no proof it does I decided not to add something I don't know about.

Not to sound like an incredible asshole, but this seems like a basic stealth build given a small backstory. What's the point? Stealth characters are common. To me, if you want a successful build, make it unique. This is just... bland. Take the Histmaster by Ponty, quite possibly the most straightforward (best in my opinion, but that's arguable *Cough Emer *Cough*) and badass Argonian. It uses the Histskin and healing regen potions to create a source of massive spells! Or, you can charge up a bound Battleaxe and become invincible as you fight ten or twenty giants. Ponty made a video of this. That build takes a concept, the Histskin being a source of blood magic, and crafts it into something so astounding that it makes you think "Why the fuck haven't I tried that? I want to be invincible!" This is...

Stealth on it's own is banal. It's overused. By experience, make an interesting build. I'll help start you off.

Build around the Redguard Adrenaline Rush. Like Histskin or Highborn, it's a massive source for an attribute, in this case Stamina. Elemental Fury registers the weapon in your left hand, so keeping an unenchanted sword and in your right a scimitar that deals a shit-ton of enchanted damage (keep in mind that the destruction "Augmented" perks also include enchanting). Combine this shout cooldowns on a vampire Necromage and you can be slicing stuff at the speed of light while casting Drain Vitality over and over.

I wish I could like this, as it's the sort of build I like, but as Ragnarok said above, it's just far too generic. I don't need a build to play a character like this, th first two characters I played in Skyrim were like this without a build. Add something truly unique and fresh, and you will earn my like, and those of many other members I'm sure.

sorry its not appealing to yall, again this is something I liked, Its a minimal 1handed spec where the character uses 1 dagger not two, duel bows for specific needs. Welp count this as a trash character I guess. GO Shadowknight.
