Just found this build-amazing synergy. Question though- poisons don't work on undead, correct? How would you use Blood of the Ancients to aid your minions? Are you running a mod that allows poisons to affect undead?

I'm not running any mod. If an npc was not immune to poison while it was "alive", poisons will work on it when raised via Conjuration spells. So if you kill a bandit and raise him, the poisons will work on him because he has no poison immunity to start with. But if you kill and raise a draugr or vampire, poisons won't work on them because they were immune to before being killed.

Never realized that (4000+ hours in the game and I've still only dabbled in necromancy). Thanks!

What an amazing build. I've never played a vampiric character before, and now I am. +1 from me!

Do you have any suggested quest order for building the character up while maintaining a bit of RP goodness? In my initial run through, I've gone with an Altmer (aesthetically unpleasing) and am involved in the DG questline aroud lvl 12 ish.

Also, in that picture with the full equipment loadout, is that your dunmer, breton or altmer?

Thanks again for an amazing build!

Thanks man! Well, this character is as evil as you can get. So, anything involving doing atrocious stuff is a must. I recommend you start off with Shirekwind Bastion. From there, you can contract Vampirism and get some nice Vampire Armor. Afterwards, hunt dragons and eat their souls to grow stronger. Why? Because as I said in the Lore, she is asleep in Shriekwind Bastion. Once she wakes up, she kills all the feral un-pure vampires there, but she is still weak from her slumber. So she needs souls be it from man, mer or dragon to restore her powers. You can use a Trap Soul Enchanted Bow for this. Other things, do Molag Bal's quest, join the Volkihar and do many side quests from them, do the Blood on Ice quest and restore Mannimarco's necklace. Then go after Mirak and eat his soul. You can roleplay absorbing Mirak's soul in order to gain enough power to perform Corpse Nova and Dark Exorcism.

Hmm...I can't remember. It was a long time ago. I did 3 playthroughs with this: Dunmer, Breton and Altmer(because of their racial power). I think it was an Altmer in the picture.

Thanks for the RP tips. It's so weird how this game basically just opened itself back up for me due to this build. Having never played a vampire, or gotten overly involved in the Molag Bol lore, it's almost like a new game.
