    Not sure if its been mentioned before or if people already new this but i just found out that the aspect of fear illusion perk actually boosts fire spells damage if you have the intense flames perk do to the fear effect the perk causes, nit sure why it boosts the damage wether its a bug or intentional but thought it might come in handy for current and future builds

    You don't actually need Intense Flanes, I think.

    Were any one handed or stealth perks added to this build? I've been wanting to try this build for awhile because it sounds amazing.

    @Valise

    Post any questions regarding the build here mate, no need to privately mail me questions, if you post them here other people can help you out as well...

    Enchanting can be improved quickly by simply making sure you have a good stock of petty soul gems nice and early during a playthrough. Visit merchants and stock up before going out into the world and filling them up with a soul trap weapon, college of winterhold is a good place to start...

    It takes aprox 200 enchantments at an enchanting alter (plus your disenchants found from questing) to get 100 in enchanting. At lower levels merchants (riverwood trader for example) will stock 10 empty petty souls for you to buy, that means if you have the money you can have a playthroughs worth of gems after 20 visits to one merchant or a few laps of the college staff.

    It's just about being organised, if your only popping into town every now and again and buying 3 soul gems then enchanting will take you an absolute age to finish. There is a reason why I've listed enchanting as a major skill for this build, you have to include it as an important part of the characters lifestyle...

    Are these builds viable on the PC where The exploited bugs are patched by the Unofficial Skyrim Patch?

    Awesome build and another like!

    Okay I just switched from Obsidian Sentinel to this build and I have noticed a big change. I only play on Master so I need to put this out there because this greatly affects the 2 builds differently. With this build and having conjuration I feel that Master difficulty is much easier because the conjurations do not suffer from damage changes. Also when in melee on the Sentinel you could go from full health to dead in 2 hits from a 2hander. The Nemesis build does not suffer from these problems. I usually run with Lydia and raise some dead or the flame antronach (sp?).

    Now I have hit 28 on the Nemesis build and tried to ditch Lydia and do more sneaking and furying (also hit Master of the mind so i can affect undead). Well the problem is sometimes I will have someone rush at me and of course my ironflesh spell is down, and I am dead. It seems hard to remember to keep mage armor up all the time. I have not gotten the necromage perk because my resto is not high enough, also alteration isnt high enough for stability. Once I get those perks I am sure the duration is gonig to be longer, but do you find yourselves forgetting to recast your armor and then dying quickly?

    This is my first character without wearing at least light armor so this is new to me.

    Also can you think of a good way to merge the obsidian sentinel with the Nemesis build to have a vampire under that armor?

    Hi John,

    This build can be pretty anti social in the perk department, I've always said that you can go two paths with this character, shadowmancer (illusion/conjuration) or a fighter/mage (alteration/restoration) with enchanted weaponry. Although the end result is the same choosing which direction to work in will often weaken the other mid-game.

    It sounds like you have gone with the shadowmancer route which is very strong until a dragon arrives. Illusion is a very perk-hungry school and puts a considerable dent in your other skills.

    It looks like you need to start pushing at alteration and restoration, if your alteration is at 40 I suggest you seek out Tolfdir at the college and buy telekinesis. Because this character is an altmer no magic perk (stability and mage armor 3/3 in your case) is ever out of reach. Activate highborn in a town and practice with telekinesis to rapidly increase your alteration...

    It also sounds like you're just not used to using mage armor on a character, you need to keep that spell up and cast it often if you're going to engage in melee, mage armor will never replace real armor so don't expect to be charging in against 2h bandit chiefs though, not on master. Fearing them and chasing them about with your sword a bit is fine though...

    Not thought of doing a vampire sentinel before, maybe one day...
