I'm giving serious thought to playing this build after the Skaal Crusader, but can't help thinking Argonian would be a better race choice because of their starting bonuses and ability to breathe underwater, especially if the Imperial Luck passive is glitched. Of course, I'd probably never play as an Argonian because I simply don't know how

I mostly use a bow as a distraction to move past them or get them away from their buddie for a sneak attack

I was getting tied of my sneak archer thief anyway, but I fell in love with the lockpicking and speech trees + prowlers profit. and I found myself spending allot of time in dungeons for loot This looks like s great build to get what I am asking for

plus I never really liked Pickpocketing or Illusion

That top picture is such an inspiration! I'm running this build as a murderous grave robber with my variation on Ocean Splitter's Grave Robber armor combo. (I replaced the Ancient Nord boots and gauntlets with the thieves guid ones+the guild hood and Ancient Nord body piece). Definitely some of the most fun I've had of late, so thank you! Great build. =]

Great build, I'm just a bit  put off by the plastic-y looking female version you have put together.  It always seems really odd to find a dime piece with huge tits and perfect ass wandering around alone in a crypt ( or even the wilderness).  It's just really irksome.  If they were smart they would be literally screwing wealthy nobles out of their coin, not getting their fingernails dirty or whatever pretty girls worry about.

I want to make a male version of this build but am put off by the high requirements to perk Treasure Hunter in the Lockpick tree.  Any advice other than training Lockpick up to 50 before picking any locks?

Maybe he was inspired by Lara Croft?

Pickpocket your money back. And invest perks into pickpocketing only so you can get the extra carry weight. Or pretend that the guild is your contact to multiple appraisers who want your artifacts.

    Nice build.

The Lock-Picking perks sure look interesting. After having picked 9382383928 locks it'd be nice to breeze through them for a change. And the extra gold of course!

The Merchant perk too. Its such a downer after a good raid to have loot you can't sell.

I didn't know about Prowlers Profit! I'm still kinda new to Skyrim ( I haven't really picked that many locks  )

I was looking for fresh ideas for my "Sneaky Sword & Board Nord" at level 22 and this works great. It may mean less gold but I think I'll have him take points in Archery instead of Pick-Pocket. Mainly because I see him more as a "Crypt Raider" than an "Urban Thief". That and Sneak+Archery is so uber.

    Thanks!
